It's Pet Obesity Awareness Day! It's more common in the hobby than you think!

"Why should we follow the suggested feeding amount? Isn't the food too little? My fish is still asking for more, look at the poor guy!"

The dangers of overfeeding our fish are not commonly known by fish keepers. Overfeeding over long periods of time cause a lot of damage. Impacts of overfeeding can be:

(1) Improper digestion, bloating, fatty liver, fin rot
(2) Poor water quality: Build up of uneaten food may cause sudden ammonia spikes, low oxygen, high pH!
(3) Problematic tank maintenance: You'll need to clean your filters more often when they get clogged

Remember if you give your fish good, high quality fish food like MIZUHO PREMIUM GOLDFISH PELLETS and WANJIE COLOR ENHANCE, you don't have to worry about your pets not getting the right nutrition!
