Saw this stray cat inside my parent's house the time I was dropping some items.
He was already weak and dehydrated. Rushed him. to the vet but unfortunately, it was too late. 😿

Hey, furriends!

Sorry we've been gone for a while. A dear family member passed away suddenly so we took some personal time away from everything.

But just as the previous loved ones who've gone away have taught us, life moves on even in the face of death. And we hold on to the belief that those who've gone ahead remain to be with us in spirit.

Also, we live for the living.

So here's an update on what our puspin cats look like since we've been off the grid.

Panda's still perched on top of the pikler
Yuki's paw still dangles
Kamen has found a new nook
And Shiro's still sleepy and cranky

Some days ago we met a sweet-looking puspin cat. It looked so chill sitting like a loaf on the wooden window sill.

It must've been our new furry friend's fave spot. Perched on top, it could safely look on the outside world. It's also where the furbaby can catch some breeze and be lulled to a cat nap.

It's been so hot lately, so here's a reminder to get your fill of water every day.

Ever since we got them this aquarium and the cats discovered the fresh water inside it, Yuki has been taking his drinks from it. He now prefers it to their usual water sources.

Meet Junior, a stray cat who was here in the compound even before we got here. He's cool and affable.

He's already neutered but he still likes to wander around the neighborhood and even get into "cat fights."

Panda, the most affectionate cat in the house. He's sociable and the only one in the puspin family who comes out to greet guests. This mojito cat also likes being part of the human family, insisting to join us on the sofa or in the bedroom where he can cuddle or use a human for a pillow.

This Cat Cafe box came as a packaging for the cats' litterbox. We just taped along the edges, threw a fleece blanket in, added a corrugated scratch board and voila, the cats got themselves a yes-space in the living area.

The four cats take turns using it but being a Napoleon cat that he is, Yuki called dibs on the box. Yuki's house, as we've come to call it, takes up a big space in our small living area. We don't have the heart to throw it out even when it's started to tear up and rip with holes because that one time the box was taken out for a cleaning,
Yuki panicked and lost his cool.
