As we all know animal abuse is rampant in our country, especially towards dogs. Recently a landmark decision was taken in Rawalpindi where a judge ordered a FIR to be filed against a man that beat a dog.
So we have decided to take advantage of that judgment and file police reports against people who abuse animals nationwide. Therefore, if you come across animal abuse, please send us evidence (videos, photos etc) along with name, address and mobile number if possible, and we will personally persue the case. Let's start holding people accountable, I think getting called in by the police will be a great deterent.

This cute maltise was rescued from the Empress Market some time back. According to the vet, he's between 2-3 years old. Since he's not a young puppy, there is a great possibility that he's stolen. Bunty was rescued from the Edhi Animal Shelter on October 4, 2021. Although he had no major health issues other than maggot eggs, he crossed the rainbow bridge due to sudden heart failure after his morning walk. The vet suspected Parvo.

We received an update from Snowball's forever family today! Look at all the fun he's having in his home! Pets Care N Cure, saved his life. We can't believe it is the same doggo who was rescued from the Golimar Graveyard. Hope you have a long, healthy and happy life Snowball! We miss you!

Many dogs are abandoned by their owners, because they are unable to train them properly. Therefore, during the rehabilitation process obedience training is given just as much priority as the medical treatment. Here, Mehdi of Pets Care N Cure is practicing the "sit" and "stay" command with Shehru while his favorite chicken lunch is calling to him. Shehru scores an A+! WELL DONE SHEHRU!

On September 10, 2021 this beautiful puppy was rescued from the Edhi Animal Shelter in Karachi where he had been abandoned. Although the vet at Pet Care N Cure has a grim diagnosis of viral leukemia and paralysis of the hind legs. He is hopeful and wants to initiate treatment and hope for the best. We have named this Doberman Pincher mix Midnight.

Enjoying an Islamabad summer morning. Meet Ace, Gimma and Bear, the three beautiful Indus Hounds from Lahore.

Exercise and exploration for dogs is as important as food and water. Therefore, every morning resident dogs are released in small groups for leash free exercise. During this time they can run, play or explore. We are committed to limiting other infrastructure and maintain at least an acre of green space for this purpose.

A large part of rehabilitation is proper training. Many of the pet dogs that come to us are broken, due to irresponsible owners who didn't train properly and blamed the dog for its behavior issues. Thank God there is no such thing as bad dogs, so with a little bit of patience, consistency and positive reinforcement, dogs with the worst behavior issues can be turned around into loving companions. Micheal is a living example of that.

Calling dogs to come in after morning activity. Most are happy to see us and come in right away like the good boys and girls they are, except Maddy, who prefers to go to her kennel on her own terms and refuses to be corded.
