#بدلتے موسم میں #بکریوں کی دیکھ بھال

پیارے فارمر بھائیوں جیسا کے ہم سب جانتے ہیں کہ اکتوبر کا مہینہ شروع ہونے والا ہے اور اس کے ساتھ ہی کچھ علاقوں میں سردی کا آغاز ہو جائے گا اور باقی جگہ بھی راتیں ٹھنڈی ہونا شروع ہو گئی ہیں اس لئے اس گرم سرد موسم میں اپنے جانوروں کا خیال رکھنا بہت ضروری ہے کیونکہ اس بدلتے موسم میں جانور تنگ ہو جاتا ہے اور بیمار ہو سکتا ہے اس لئے آج ہم دیکھیں گے کہ ایسے میں بکریوں کا خیال کس طرح رکھیں۔

* بکریوں کو رات میں کھلے آسمان کے نیچے نہ رکھیں کیوں کہ رات میں اوس گرتی ہے جس سے بکریاں بیمار ہو سکتی ہیں اس لئے کسی سایہ دار جگہ کا بندوبست کریں یا کوئی کپڑا یا ترپال وغیرہ لگا کربکریوں کو رات میں اس کے نیچے رکھیں۔
* بکریوں کی خوراک میں بتدریج تبدیلی کریں اور ٹھنڈی خوراک سے گرم خوراک کی طرف آہستہ آہستہ لے کر جائیں۔
* سرد موسم میں بکریوں کو گرم رہنے کے لئے زیادہ توانائی کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے اس لئے ان کی خوراک میں نشاستہ شامل کریں جو ان کو توانائی مہیہ کرتا ہے جیسے شیرہ راب یا گندم کا دلیہ۔
* اس موسم کی خطرناک جانلیوا بیماری CCPP یعنی پلورو نمونیا کی vaccine لازمی کرائیں تاکہ جانور بیماری سے محفوظ ہو جائیں۔
* بکریوں کو حفاظتی طور پر کسی اچھی دوا جیسے Oxytetracycline کا ٹیکہ لگائیں تاکہ وہ موسمی اثرات سے محفوظ رہ سکیں۔
* بکریوں کو موسمی اثرات سے بچانے کے لئے ان کو اجوائن لونگ اور گڑھ کا قہوہ پلائیں۔
* بکری کے بچوں کو نسبتاً گرم جگہ پر رکھیں تاکہ بیماری سے بچ سکیں۔
* اس موسم میں جانوروں پر جوؤں کا حملہ ہو سکتا ہے اس لئے تمام جانوروں کو کھال والا ٹیکہ Ivermectin لازمی لگائیں۔
ان باتوں پر عمل کر کے آپ بکریوں کو کافی حد تک محفوظ رکھ سکتے ہیں ان شاء اللّه

چیچڑ(Tics)
اور جیسے ہی گرمی سٹارٹ ہوتے ہی مکھی (flies) ، مچھر 🦟(mosquito) ، جوئیں (mites) اور چیچڑ (ticks) خوراک (خون,Blood) کے حصول کے لئے جانوروں پر حملہ آور ہوجاتے ہیں تاکہ اپنی نسل کو آگے بڑھا سکیں_.

گرمیوں میں رات کو درجہ حرارت (temperature) کم ہونے سے یہ چیچڑ باہر نکلتے ہیں اور جانوروں کو چمٹ جاتے ہیں اور جانوروں کا خون چوستا (bloodsucking) ہیں جس سے جانوروں میں خون کی کمی (anemia) کے ساتھ ساتھ مختلف بیماریاں (diseases) لگتی ہیں اور جانور کمزور ہونا سٹارٹ ہو جاتا ہے_

جانوروں کو چیچڑ کے کاٹنے سے تھیلیریوسس (theleriosis) ، بیبیوسز (bebesiosis) اور اینا پلازموسس (Anaplasmosis) جیسی بیماریاں لاحق ہو جاتی ہیں جو کے جان لیوا ہیں_
اور مکھی ، مچھر کے کاٹنے سے وِل بخار یا رہیومیٹک فیور ہو جاتا ہے جس سے جانور لنگڑا کر چلتا ہے_

اپنے قیمتی جانوروں کو مکھی، مچھروں، چیچڑیوں اور دوسرے حشرات سے بچانے کے لیے (10ml (FULLSTOP دوائی جانور کی ریِڑ کی ہڈی کے اُوپر سرنج یا ڈراپر کے زریعہ ڈال دیں یا کوئی دوسری دوائی استعمال کریں
جس سے جانور کو مختلف قِسم کے حشرات سے بچایا جا سکتا ہے۔
شام کے وقت جانوروں کے باڑے یا فارم میں (cypermethrin) کی دوائی سے سپرے کرئیں تا کے اِن حشرات سے جانوروں کے سات سات باڑے یا فارم پر کام کرنے والے ملازمین اور مالک خود بھی محفوظ رہ سکیں_
جانور بہت قیمتی ہیں خدارا انکی حفاظت کریں_
آچھا جانور مالک اور ملک کے لیے قیمتی سرمایہ ہوتا ہے۔
اس کے علاؤہ آپ ویپن لیکوئیڈ کو پانی میں مکس کر کے سپرے بھی کرسکتے ہیں جانوروں پر ۔

*_Calf Diphtheria_* (Necrobacillosis)
There are two forms of calf diphtheria. The most common is an *acute oral (mouth)* infection, usually seen in calves less than 3 months old. The second form is usually seen in older calves and affects the
*larynx (or voice-box)* Both forms are caused by the bacteria *Fusobacterium necrophorum* , which also causes foul-in-the foot and liver abscesses in older cattle.

*Clinical Signs*
*Oral form*

♦️Initial presenting sign may just be a swollen cheek

♦️Calf may be otherwise bright and active with no temperature

♦️Examination of the inside of the mouth shows a foul-smelling ulceration and swelling of the cheek

♦️Temperature may be normal at the start
If untreated more signs develop:

♦️High temperature

♦️Coughing

♦️Loss of appetite and depression

♦️Difficulty breathing,

♦️chewing and swallowing

♦️Swollen pharyngeal region

♦️Deep ulcers on the tongue, palate, and inside of cheeks
♦️Pneumonia

*Laryngeal form:*

♦️Coughing : Moist and painful

♦️High temperature

♦️Loss of appetite and depression

♦️Difficult breathing, chewing and swallowing

♦️Pneumonia
*Diagnosis*
⚜️The diagnosis of calf diphtheria is usually based on the clinical signs.
⚜️For one-off cases rule out other problems such as BVD and foreign bodies by getting your vet to do a thorough oral examination
⚜️Bacteriology can be also useful.
⚜️A post-mortem can confirm the ulcerative nature of the disease, particularly in calves with the laryngeal form
*Treatment*
Early prompt treatment is important as early treatment is much more effective
Separate the infected animals and isolate them
•Tyloback 20 (Tylosin Tartarte)
•Antibiotics and Nsaids(pain killers) are effective in most cases
•The laryngeal form is much more resistant to treatment.
*Prevention*
Fusobacterium necrophorum is a normal inhabitant of cattle intestines and the environment. Under unhygienic conditions, infection may be spread on feeding troughs and dirty milk buckets. Some of the contributory factors for occurrence of this disease include abrasions in the oral mucosa (such as those from erupting molar teeth), poor nutrition and the presence of other diseases present in young calves.

If animals are closely confined, the spread of this infectious disease can be prevented by thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting of all calf feeders. Young calves must be examined daily to identify early stages of the disease.
