The old city of Jahanian was planned on a similar pattern to New York City in 1919. It is divided into seven main blocks. Most people are small traders, sole proprietors and business people. The "Abdul Rehman Wahla Stadium" is a well-known stadium, and Govt. High School grounds are also very famous for sports activities. In Jahanian the young persons are very motivated and take part in different games.
