Emu
(Dromaius novaehollandiae)

It is endemic to Australia where it is the largest native bird and the only extant member of the genus Dromaius.

After Incubation Period of 56 days, these beautiful Chicks come out as a result of Hatching.

Emus are farmed primarily for their meat, leather, feathers and oil, and 95% of the carcass can be used.Emu meat is a low-fat product (less than 1.5% fat), and is comparable to other lean meats.

Emus can suffer from both external and internal parasites, but under farmed conditions are more parasite-free than ostriches or rheas.

Females are more aggressive than males during the courtship period.

An abscess, or localized infection of the skin, between the toes is also called an interdigital furuncle. It is similar to a severely infected pimple or boil on the face. These painful, pus-filled blisters often occur in the webbing between a dog's toes.
The most common cause of furuncles between the toes is a deep bacterial infection. Many dog breeds (for example, Chinese Shar-Peis, Labrador Retrievers, and English Bulldogs) are predisposed to the condition because they have short, bristly hairs on the webbing between the toes and/or prominent amounts of webbing.

Mano presented with the complaint of anorexia,looking dull.On physical examiantion, He has got high fever,start of some ulcers in the oral cavity around gums and also have a**l sacculitis.
Appropriate treatment has been done.
Differential Diagnosis include the Feline Calci Virus, in which most of the time you observe ulcers on the tongue and sometimes upper or lower respiratory tract infection.

A Labrador by Breed but never take Him Easy.
Very Active,Eager,playful in normal routine but when it comes to treatment ,He becomes a Gladiator 😂.
After taking multiple attempts ,I got success to get him Dewormed,Anti tick spray and His Physical Exam.Slight rashes were also seen around the pe**le region so proper treatment has been done.
Thanks to the owner of the Melan who cooperated a lot.
Public service message is always deworm your pet after a period of atleast 3 months to break the cycle of egg,Larva and adult stages.It is never possible to kill the all worms instantly .
The Only thing we can do is to decrease their number.Thats why, deworming is recommended after every 3 Months so that we can reduce the worm load that affects the health and status of our pet.

Ticks are external parasites, living by feeding on the blood of mammals, birds, and sometimes reptiles and amphibians.

Ticks are responsible for the transmission of a large variety of diseases that affect livestock. The major diseases include babesiosis, anaplasmosis, theileriosis, and heartwater; in addition, there are other diseases of lesser importance. The major tick-borne diseases of livestock, their symptoms, and present methods for their control were briefly reviewed by Bram (1975).
