The Königsberg Color-head Tumbler (German: Königsberger Farbenkopf) is a fancy breed of pigeon developed in the mid-18th century in Königsberg, Fast Prussia, from which it gets its German name. This pigeon breed is well known in Russia because Königsberg is now part of Russia and is known as Kaliningrad.

Origin: From the middle of the eighteenth century, it was grown mainly in Königsberg, as well as other nearby cities.
STANDARD
General Appearance Due to the rich plumage, it appears to be a medium-sized pigeon, with a round head, short-beaked, with a high crown and tufts or without a crown and bare-footed, lively and confident.
Head:
Round, full, broad and with a high forehead,
Ornaments without a crown or with a wide crown completed with rosettes.
Eyes:Pearl eyes.
Eyelids Pale, light pink.
Beak:
Very short, thick, blunt, at an obtuse angle to the forehead, as light as possible, flesh-colored, butterfly pattern is allowed in black or blue.
The wax is well developed.
Neck: Rather strong, stocky, slightly arched.
Chest: Broad, well rounded, carried forward.
Back: Wide at the shoulders, slightly sloping.
Wings: wings are of medium length, resting on the tail.
Tail: Moderately long, closed.
Legs: The legs are short, unfeathered or abundantly feathered, with medium-sized "boots" and well-developed s**g (s**ggy-footed variants also have an ornament on the head).
Plumage Well developed in s**ggy feet, close fitting in bare feet, not too long for all.
Color: Black, blue, red, yellow.
Color and Pattern:
All colors are rich and pure. The head, bib up to half of the neck and the tail with a rump and a wedge under the tail are colored, the rest of the plumage is white, the color inside the crown. The bib is wide and long. The back of the neck and crown must be white. In smoothheads, the correct pattern is located 1 cm below the cut line of the head.
Inadmissible shortcomings Massive figure, high posture, long, narrow head. Too long, "thin" beak, low, narrow or crooked crown, too short tufts on legs, barefoot feathered legs, drooping wings. Short, very angular, pointed or narrow breastplate, lack of tail color, white feathers in wedge,
split or completely dark beak.

Koenigsberg Coloured Head Tumbler
Varieties belonging to the Tumbler pgieons type are very popular in their home country and in several other countries in Europe. Despite having good flying skills, but practical development is only intended to create a beautiful appearance.
The short faced breed, was developed in Koinigsberg Germany. The known breeds in the development of this variety, are the Ancient and the Reinaugen. Although it is believed that other unknown breeds where involved.
The variety of colors are Black, Dunn, Red, Yellow, Blue and Silver. The white variety is known as the Royal Snow Tumbler and comes in bull eye only. It has a broad round head full crest with rosettes. The color of the head, bib and tail being the same. The legs and feet are full muffed.

Flight
They are mainly kept as sophisticated (exhibition) pigeons, but with regular training they can be taught to fly well.

Maintaining and creating requires care. The breed is brevirostratus, which can cause difficulty in breeding and maintenance. A good breeding program requires foster parents, usually medium-beaked and long-beaked pigeons.
