The Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, in collaboration with the Institute of Plant Breeding and Biotechnology/MNSUAM, recently hosted a Seminar on "How to Create Effective Motivational Letters and Resumes for International Funding Schemes" on May 30, 2024, at Seminar Hall, Room no 110, Academic Block, MNS University of Agriculture, Multan.

We were honored to have Dr. Martin Wiehle from the University of Kassel, Germany, as our distinguished Guest Speaker. His presence at the event added a global perspective and valuable insights into creating effective motivational letters and resumes for international funding schemes. It was truly an honor to have him share his wisdom with us.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Raza, Dean, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciencies(FVAS, MNSUAM) also shared valuable insights with the students. The LAD class from the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at MNS University of Agriculture, Multan had the privilege of visiting Livestock Production Research Institute (LPRI) in Bahadar Nagar, Okara.

This study tour was arranged under the kind supervision of Dr. Rab Nawaz Kausar and Mr. Mohsin.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the LPRI administration for their hospitality and for providing us with this enriching learning experience.

Department of Pathobiology and Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (FVAS), Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University, Multan, conducted One Day National Hands-on Training on Basic Techniques of Biosafety and Biosecurity with the collaboration of American Society for Microbiology and Pakistan Biological Safety Association (PBSA) and Medical Lab Association on 25th April, 2024.

The Worthy Vice Chancellor of MNS University of Agriculture, Multan, Prof. Dr. Ishtiaq A. Rajwana graced the occasion as chief guest. Vice Chancellor in his speech thanks the honorable trainers Prof. Dr. Saeed Khan, President Pakistan Biological Safety Association (BPSA)/ Chairperson, Department of Pathology, Dow Medical University Karachi and Mr. Muhammad Ali Khan Chapter Head PBSA Punjab for their time and expertise they shared with the students of BS Medical Laboratory Technology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology.

The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts and expert leadership of Prof. Dr Muhamamd Asif Raza (Dean, FVAS). In his address Prof. Dr. Muhamamd Asif Raza thanks worthy VC for his unconditional support and the honorable guests. He also shed light on the importance of biosafety and biosecurity in medical and allied health sciences.
Students learned alot and enjoyed the hands on training.

Dean of Agricultural Sciences Prof. Dr. Shafqat Saeed appreciated the efforts. A large number of faculty members and students were present in event. Vice Chancellor acknowledge and awarded appreciation certificates and shields to honorable guests, Dean Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Raza, Prof Dr Junaid Ali Khan, Dr Asghar Abbas, Dr Kashif Hussain, Dr Hafiz Muhammad Ishaq, Dr Atif Rehman, Dr Ali Haider, Dr Sarmad Farogh, Dr Muhammad Usman, Dr. Ahsan Anjum and Dr. Imran Ahmad Khan, Mr Umair Waqas, and Mr Humza Munir.
