It was my pleasure to work alongside Mr. Kavan, Technical Manager at Future Cow, to ensure a seamless integration of the system. The training was a huge success, and our team is now fully equipped to operate the system with confidence.
A huge thank you to Skyzone team and Future Cow for his expertise and support throughout the process. We're excited to see the positive impact of the Future Cow Teat Scrubber System on our operations!

Heat stress in dairy cows ๐Ÿ„
๐Ÿ”น Heat stress in dairy cows can lead to decreased feed intake.
๐Ÿ”นReduced nutrient intake can result in decreased milk production and poor body condition.
๐Ÿ”น Heat stress can disrupt rumen function and increase the risk of metabolic disorders like acidosis.
๐Ÿ”นHigh temperatures cause increased respiration rate and panting, leading to respiratory alkalosis and dehydration if water intake is insufficient.
๐Ÿ”น Heat stress can negatively impact reproductive performance, causing reduced conception rates and embryo mortality.
๐Ÿ”นElevated body temperatures can weaken the immune system, making cows more susceptible to diseases and infections.
๐Ÿ”น Management strategies to mitigate heat stress include providing shade and ventilation, using sprinkler systems or fans for cooling, ensuring access to clean and cool drinking water, adjusting feeding practices, and implementing heat abatement techniques.
๐Ÿ”น These measures are important to maintain the health and productivity of dairy cows, particularly in hot climates or during the summer months.

1. Apply pre-milking teat disinfection according to your usual protocol, wait 30 seconds and then dry.
2. Do complete Milking. Check manually by stripping after cluster removal
3. Spray with spirit for disinfection again
4. Thoroughly clean each teat with alcoholic swab
5. Dry cow tubes, carefully insert the antibiotic tube into the teat end and slowly depress the plunger. Then pinch the teach end and massage the antibiotic up the teat into the udder
6. Now apply a post milking teat dip preferably dip with long lasting sealant affect
7. If at any point in the teats become contaminated with faeces, they must be fully cleansed with cotton wool soaked in surgical sprit to prevent bacteria entering the teat and causing a serious infection.
