Farmer came to hospital about complaint of lameness in herd of fattening animals. Bedding of animals was muddy. On physical examination of hooves of animals, there was no visible sings of foot rot.. . Feeding history shows silage and potatoes in feed. When I asked about quantity of Sodium Bi Carbonate used in feeding, farmer told about very minute quantity of that. After simple addition of sodium bicarbonate in feed, the problem vanished within a week.
