Another horrible incident happened, some children wrapped cloth and plastic bag around the neck of this puppy and set it on fire. It was found with two terrible wounds full of maggots. Puppy was in trauma shock. It was taken in and treatment was started. The healing of wounds was slow but steady. It took almost a month for puppy to recover from this physical and emotional abuse. He is completely healthy now but left a question mark on the behavior of our children towards an innocent and defenseless animals. Please share this story and help to bring some positive change in our community to end this mistreatment.

Yesterday's rainfall caused heavy flooding in our shelter. With water seeping into the room we had to manually drain it by hand.

We are in need of funds to reinforce the rooftop and awnings. We also need to repair doors and windows to prevent water from coming into rooms.

While doing so one must take care of the basic rules of sacrifice and also feel the pain of the sacrificed animal. Treat your animals kindly and while doing so It is important to remember that this sacrifice is done in the way of God. We must respect the sacrifice and not indulge in questionable acts like making graphic videos and boasting about your sacrifice.

We are so glad to make this post and share sherlock’s story with you!!
Sherlock reunited with his rescuer today after making full recovery in almost 3 months at our shelter!

As much as we are happy for him, we are going to miss him a lot! He will always hold a special place in our heart ❤️

Just when we were happy that we made it through winters!
The reality of horrid hot summers hit us!
We are not prepared!
In winters we managed to carry water gallons to the shelter to meet water demand.
But we wont be able to make it through summers because of increased demand of water supply.

WE NEED YOU!
We need funds to get water bore at the shelter so we have a sustainable water supply and not let our rescues get sick or God forbid die due to heat strokes and dehydration.
Picture 3 shows the condition of water source at the shelter, it’s just a hole.
We need to get things working fast, with the temperature increasing by day and ramadan approaching.

We recently rescued 12 puppies from E-11, who have reportedly experienced immense trauma and abuse after first being separated from their mothers and then at the hands of local kids in the area.
One was reportedly stabbed to death and had its body mutilated, one burnt alive and another strangled to death.

The pups have currently been given shelter but our expenses have skyrocketed.
We are in urgent need of funds and also have to find permanent homes for them as soon as possible.
