Brownie’s Recovery Journey

Brownie has shown incredible strength on her road to recovery. She has fully recovered from her tumor and, though still a bit skinny, she’s gaining strength with proper care and nutritious food. Her eye surgery was successful, and the sutures have healed well.

While she has lost one eye, Brownie continues to see the world with love and hope through the other. Her resilience is a reminder of the power of compassion and care. 🐾❤️

Brownie’s Rescue Story – A Call for Awareness

We received a call about a dog in distress. When we arrived, Brownie was in severe pain. She had lost all her puppies and one of her eyes. She also has a vaginal tumor, likely caused by forced separation during mating—a cruel but common mistake.

Brownie has undergone eye surgery and is now under treatment. We are doing our best to help her recover. Animals feel pain too, and proper awareness can prevent such suffering. Spaying and neutering save lives.

She needs your prayers and support. Let’s spread awareness and stop animal cruelty.

I noticed a small puppy in the fields without seeing a mother. For a day or two, I returned to feed him and check for his mom. She was not there, so I brought him to the Fresco Animal Shelter Peshawar. At the shelter, a friendly puppy named Oscar welcomed the newcomer, and they quickly became friends. I named the new puppy Nodd and fed him nutritious food. Now he feels safe, cared for, and happy with his constant companion, Oscar. Nodd will be neutered when he is older and enjoy his life. Hopefully, we can find a good home for this beautiful puppy. Helping animals at risk is our mission at Fresco Shelter and Rescue.

A Sunday - Serenity Found in an Unusual Family. This Sunday, during a visit to the graveyard, I met a homeless man who lives with a goat and her kid, a dog, a puppy, and several chickens and roosters. I captured some heartwarming moments with his animals, appreciating how they bring comfort to his life.
To support his efforts, I plan to help feed his birds. This special moment showed me that kindness and compassion can bloom anywhere — on busy streets, in affluent homes, or in quiet graveyards. It truly grows in the heart and spirit of each individual.
