âźď¸REQUEST FOR DONATIONS FOR CANCER TREATMENT OF MUSHUâźď¸
Meet Mushu, a Fighter in Need of Your Help! đžA few days ago, a gentle soul appeared outside my house. He was just lying there quietly, with eyes that seemed to tell a thousand stories. I named him Mushu, and like all self-invited furry guests, I couldnât turn him away. They say dogs have a sense of finding places where they feel they can find help and feel safe. After giving him some food and love, I noticed he wasnât very active, and something seemed off. Upon closer inspection, I saw a small tumor-like cyst around his genital area.Concerned, I immediately called a vet to examine him. After a thorough check-up, Mushu was diagnosed with TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumor)âa type of contagious cancer that affects dogs, especially strays. Mushu has outgrowths around his genital area, but the good news is that this condition is treatable! He will need five weekly chemotherapy sessions to fully recover.Mushu is around 8 years old, and despite everything heâs been through, he is sweet, gentle, and incredibly resilient. He deserves a second chance at life, free from pain and suffering.Mushuâs treatment, care, and follow-ups will cost a significant amount. I am reaching out to you, my amazing community, to help fund his chemotherapy and give him the life he deserves. Every little bit counts, and together we can give Mushu a fighting chance. If youâd like to contribute to Mushuâs treatment, please donate via PayPal at: [email protected] and/or DM me for account details for Pakistan or UK. Every little penny helps so please donate as much as possible for you.Even if youâre unable to donate, sharing Mushuâs story can make a world of difference. Letâs come together to help this wonderful dog heal and find the love and care he has always deserved.Thank you for being part of Mushuâs journey! đž
[UPDATE ON CASPER & MURREE BEER]: Do you all remember Casper and Murree Beer? Last month they came to Pamper's Animal Shelter paralysed with no hope of walking ever again and leading a normal dog life. Casperâs operation was somewhat successful but the doctor basically asked me to put down Murree Beer as his operation was too complicated and did not take place. I instead put my trust in Allah as life and death is in His hands only. Today ŮąŮŮŘŮŮ
ŮŘŻŮ ŮŮŮŮŮŮ°ŮŮ both Casper and Murree Beer are not only walking, they are running! Thank you to all who contributed for Casper, if anyone wants to contribute in the blessed month of Ramadan for Murree Beer as well, please inbox me. Overall, Murree Beerâs medical expenses have been around Rs 50k.
UPDATE ON âMURREE BEERâ: He didnât have a name and was paralysed due to a spinal cord injury. We have now named him MURREE BEER đş. Okay I know I come up with weird names but it sounds nice on this furball. He was sent to the clinic for a surgery, however, upon sedating him and opening his spinal for injury the doctor found that it wasnât safe to operate and his spinal cord pieces were way inside. He was given drips as he wasnât eating properly before as he couldnât urinate and defacate himself and he was also given some physiotherapy. The doctor did suggest that itâs a 50/50 chance he may get better or he may not at all and his life will be miserable. The doctor suggested an option is to âput him downâ â I am strictly against putting animals down. Life and death is with Allah and I donât believe in taking it upon me to decide someoneâs death. MURREE BEER has now been taken to the Pamper's Animal Shelter and we will feed him, physio him and see how it goes. He may get better or he may not, but he will live the rest of his life as our beloved family member with ample clean food to eat and a name.
A SAD STORY OF A STRAY DOG: He doesnât have a name and has been surviving on leftovers from a âjhuggiâ. He has no one to love him and call him part of their family. Cherry on top someone ran over him and damaged his spinal cord leading to his sudden paralysis. His spinal cord is broken and he is unable to eat and excrete. He is now at our designated vet where we are trying to figure out the next course of action for him. He is on drips as he canât eat. His surgery means he may have a 20% to 30% chance of leading a normal doggie life again. Not sure what he did to deserve this life and then being run over by some irresponsible human being. Should you want to donate for his surgery and name him, please DM me.
NEW CASE: A new case has come up of a paralysed dog who has been living next to a âjhuggiâ. He has never had proper food in his life and has been living on leftovers. The dogs hind legs have stopped working (could be a hit and run case) and the reporter has dropped him to our designated vet. We will update you shortly on what the issue is. I willl not be taking anymore cases otherwise my mom will kick me out of the house. Should anyone wish to donate for this champ, please DM me. He doesnât have a name as well, so if anyone wants to suggest a name please write in comments.
CASPER UPDATE: Post operation Casper is feeling better and has also started barking. The first day he was in unimaginable pain and shaken to the core, like âwhat did I do to be run overâ. Letâs hope for his speedy recovery and that he is able to walk and run again. Casper is still in boarding, so please help us cover his medical bills.
CASPER UPDATE: Casper underwent surgery yesterday and this is him recovering post op from anaesthesia. We have not managed to collect any donations, please spread the word and if youâre feeling generous please help us cover his medical bills.
