The aim is to have a healthy hobby rather than for profits. We are keeping many kinds of birds in our aviaries and concentrating about meeting their standards of keeping happy and healthy birds. We started parrot keeping in 1996 and our first birds were budgies. We had a successfull keeping and breeding of these budgies. Over the years after getting new birds we moved in the keeping of Rosellas. R
osellas are native to Australia. They are magnificent birds with a beautiful voice. Always on the move, rosellas are the type that can never sit idle. They like running on the floor of the cages and aviaries. Our first pair was a Red Crimson Rosella. The pair proved being good breeders and we eventually added more rosellas like yellow rosella, adailede rosella, golden mantle rosella, red opline rosella, mealy rosella, red cinammon opline rosella, rubino rosella and lutino rosella. Our flocks are fed a nice diet that is composed of the mixed seeds, vegetables and fruits. We also give them vitamin suppliments as it improves health and feather condition. Keeping birds require time and devotion. The cages are cleaned every week and food dishes and containers are washed periodically. We have some of the finest genetic blood parrots and we believe to keep pure and true breeds rather than hybrids. SAK Aviaries and Exotic Birds will continue to play its role in the conservation and healthy keeping of parrots in the future and make sure that people also adopt it as a loving and an affectionate hobby.
