More of my work with EL DESAFÍO. This now Gelding was "rescued" in an owner release situation to Defensa.

He was a Stallion until after rescue.

He had lived alone on a rope around his neck (no halter)without much human or horse interactions for years/ most all of his life, including through Hurricane Maria

The owner could not even touch this horse without fear of getting hurt. The owner was smart. This horse came to Defensa very wild. But now he is living with a small herd of 3 other rescued horses & mostly trained. My last sessions with him are all about riding & the bit.
