𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒 was found on the streets alone in Humacao, February 2024. She’s 18 months, a Collie/Border mix, 48 lbs, spayed, housetrained, docile, sweet, calm, and LOVES cuddling in bed. She enjoys other dogs but prefers human contact and snuggles. Jules does well on a leash and is very easygoing. She’s currently living at L4S headquarters. Please consider adopting this sweet young lady!

𝑺𝑼𝑵𝑹𝑰𝑺𝑬 was found on Puerto Nuevo Beach in Vega Baja, January 2024. She’s 2.5 years old, a Husky mix, 40 lbs, spayed, housetrained, friendly, humble, obedient, affectionate, and respectful. She loves walking on a leash, playing with other dogs, and napping near her humans. Sunrise is an overall joy to be around. Please consider adopting this gorgeous lady!

Remember Kano?

We rescued this 11-year-old senior dog in April when he was weak, malnourished, and covered in tumors. Under our care, Kano has come to life, enjoying outdoor play and serving as our unofficial house watchdog. Despite his remarkable recovery, Kano suffers from terrible arthritis and disc and vertebrae injuries.

To ensure Kano's comfort and quality of life, Love4Satos provides:

Monthly injections: $120 per month
Chiropractic care: $200 per month
Special wet food: $300 per month
Love4Satos is committed to giving Kano a safe, comfortable hospice home so that he can enjoy his senior years. We are looking for monthly, recurring donors to support Kano's care, which costs over $620 per month. Every bit helps!

***🙏🙏🙏 NEED HELP FINDING RESCUE PARTNERS IN USA, PLEASE SHARE🙏🙏🙏***
Today we share a special plea for help to rescue organizations in the US. Flights out for our rescued pups are at their lowest point ever and we are in a critical situation. We are in dire need of rescue organizations stateside who are able to receive our pups.

We just received a call for help to rescue a momma and her seven, 4-week old babies. It breaks our hearts, but we cannot take them in unless we have a rescue partner lined up to receive them once they’re done with their health protocol. Momma is a small/medium chihuahua mix, at around 20lbs and puppies are expected to be a similar size.

To our amazing Love4Satos community and friends, PLEASE help us by sharing this post to rescue organizations in your area. We do not want this family left behind.

Happy Tuesday everyone 🐾

Who remembers Sweet Sofia? We rescued her back in February of 2023 in deplorable conditions and pregnant 🥺

After a long journey and thanks to many angels, Sofia’s 8 pups managed to find loving forever homes and now it’s Sweet Sofia’s turn. She is 100% healthy and is now ready to be adopted! She’s around 3 years old, 37 pounds, UTD on her vet protocol, very well socialized with any human including children, she’s currently being fostered with 4 other pups without any problems and she’s just the happiest girl ever who’s ready to give unconditional love to her forever family.

Before and after Saturday story 🐾 Who remembers this baby rescued back in the Summer 23’?

Hello, my name is Jyn and I am approximately 10 months old. I arrived at my rescuer's house out of the blue in deplorable conditions. I was scared, hungry and almost unable to see properly through my eyes. At first upon arriving I felt very scared, but my foster was patient and gave me all the love in the world.

Today it continues to be a little difficult for me to meet new people, but if you give me the opportunity I can become the most loving cat you have ever seen. I like to sleep showing my tummy, but I don’t like belly rubs. I really like feeding time, I shout to my rescuer because of the excitement I feel about eating! It takes me a little time to adjust when I meet new cats, but then I am her most faithful best friend. I like to tell my rescuer how my day went (I'm very talkative) and above all I protect my rescuer from the broom by watching it closely in case it does something bad and I always, always have to investigate the dustpan in case you're throwing something away that you don't want 👻

I can spend hours calmly looking out the window watching nature, I like to sleep with my rescuer, but I also like to have my time alone, and I really love toys of all kinds. In short, I am a very loving cat with the right people…give me the chance of having a loving/patient family to call my own ♥️

🚨 Help is needed for our most recent rescue 🚨
This past Monday we rescued this poor soul and we named him Kano 🐕.
We found him wondering the streets in a San Juan suburban area. We could tell he had been wandering the streets for a long time because of the extremely precarious condition he is in 🥹 He was wearing two nasty and filthy collars. 🤢 That sadly tells us that at one time he had a home. He was very weak and malnourished.
He is a senior dog that has no front teeth 😞. He weighs only 32 pounds and has various warts or tumors in his body.
Once he in better shape, the vet will examine them more closely and determine the course of action.

But today, we're facing a dire funding gap. With over 100 dogs to care for and urgent expenses, we need your help to keep our mission alive. Sadly, we've had to pause new rescues due to financial constraints. 💔
We did an exception with Kano because this was a life or death decision.
Last Monday was April's fool's day and we would have been really fools not to rescue Kano. ❤️
