Stained glass windows always capture my attention; the colours , the intricacy , the design , the storytelling and the infinite patience the maker must have needed.

Fabulous Florals were a feast for the eyes on F&L’s Wedding Day … the heat ☀️ that day matched chef L’s spicy 🦐 dishes that F (7 years in) now loves so much…
Their ceremony was filled with magnificent (live) music , (loud) laughter , (happy) tears , vows which were written (and spoken) from the heart and a butterfly (or two ) fluttering by .

“Mightier than the waves of the sea is his love for you” (psalm 93:4)
The sea is my happy place and this was taken while Whale watching with MrW in the Azores recently (not by me , as I was far too slow , and completely mesmerised, to react ) . This was a migrating, sardine eating Sei Whale 🐋 - it eats up to 900kg of food a day (even more than me) ; it’s enormous size (& appetite) in an even more humungous ocean served as a reminder to me , whilst bobbing in a small rib 🛥️ nearby, of just how the tiniest split second moments with the people you love bring the greatest joys …

A Villa setting for a Pearl Renewal of Vows which was a year in the planning for the super organised Mr S and a complete SURPRISE (& shock) for Mrs S.
3 decades of love (for each other and Watford FC) celebrated by 3 generations of family. Friends flew in who had attended in 1995 , daughter H had us roaring with laughter during her speech and we remembered the truly loved and much missed too… it was an emotional melting pot with infinite love in the middle of it all…
I even got the dress code memo!!

It was another Wonderful Wedding day for me (more of that in a few days) but as well as Words and Weddings, the other love in my life is WwW 🐾 a.k.a Woody-Woofy Walkden . Today , whilst I was working WwW was ‘enjoying’ a spa day (his face says it all in his shampoo shot!). Super grateful to zen.dog.consultora ; WwW and I thank you (me perhaps more than him!!)

Every now and then it’s my privilege to act as a Celebrant Consultant (when I help to write the ceremony but not deliver it). N&S had chosen N’s sister G to lead their day and she & I shared so much laughter (& ideas) together in the months beforehand.
Our bride asked for a planner recommendation too and it was my pleasure to recommend Amazing Algarve Weddings 💒.
