It’s been a showery few days here and I spotted this 🌈 whilst walking 🐾… I wasn’t near enough for the pot of gold at either end though !
Unbelievably, the very next couple I spoke to reminisced about how much 🌈 have played a part in their relationship journey so far… for them their pot of 💛 was definitely found…

It’s been another wet weekend here in the Algarve but, my days have certainly been brightened (considerably) by my Wedding25 couple zoom calls. Those that know me know I love dogs - and, every couple this weekend has had a treasured pooch - who not only made an appearance during each zoom to meet me (& my 🐾) but who will definitely have a mention in their ceremony too …
Unconditional love & joy has four paws and a wet nose…

I’ve been far too quiet on my socials over the past week or so (not like me to be quiet at all 🙃) . By way of an explanation, I’ve been away from my desk here in 🇵🇹 and having returned , I’ve been completely blown away , and feel blessed, by the amount of enquiries for 2025, 2026 and 2027.
I choose to only take a certain number of ceremonies each season - that way I can dedicate all the time I need to the truly wonderful couples who’ve chosen to entrust me with a small part in their incredible day. 2025 is very nearly filled , 2026 is over half filled, but 2027 still has plenty of space for anyone looking for an overly tall celebrant who brings great height and gentle humour in equal measure ♥️.
I’m so excited for all of my upcoming ceremonies, no matter which year they’re in (very like me to be super excited about everything 🙂)
Love truly is in the air for my ceremonies with altitude (not attitude!) … ♥️

An hour or so before , this Oceanside table in Barbados had been the setting for an engagement proposal by a gentleman who’d obviously waited and waited for every other table around them (including ours) to finish lunch & leave …
Not being able to wait any longer, (we didn’t get the memo) he sank to one knee , quietly asked, a ring was offered, a whispered “yes” was given and a loving kiss exchanged. Heartfelt Happiness.

What brought tears to my eyes was hearing (the much louder) phone calls the fiancés then made to their families - the reactions and pure joy that sharing their exciting news had was palpable, and just perfect .
All you need is love… 💕

7 days into the New Year and I’ve been blessed to busy working with couples who are all ‘shell-ebrating’ their wonderful Weddings this year. The picture perfect painting of a Sea Turtle that hangs in my holiday hotel room as I create their unique ceremonies , reminds me that life is a journey to be embraced, no matter what speed is chosen, and that being comfortable and confident in your own ‘shell’ is key

As the sun sets tonight on 2024, and we open the door on 2025 I wanted to say a huge and heartfelt “thank you” to all my couples who entrusted me with their ceremonies this past year - each and every one of you brought me love and joy on so many levels .

Sometimes, just sometimes, the run up to a Wedding Day isn’t as smooth as everyone would like; but supporting my couples through all aspects of what can be a super-stressful time is something I never shy away from - I’ll always help with whatever I can, whenever I can, if I can (& and if I can’t, I’ll signpost to someone who definitely can!) - it’s all part of my celebrant service.
