8 Baby Rhino Iguanas (Cyclura cornuta) have hatched! No words can describe how happy we are that this project was a success! All the viable eggs developed nicelly and hatched in around 100 days!All 8 babies are perfect and already running around nibling on greens! This is the first time this species is sucessfully bred in Portugal and hopefully will continue this way for many years to come!

This is a first for us! We have been working with this species for a while now and finally we were abre to produce our very first baby Cuban false chameleon (Chamaeleolis Porcus). They are an unusual looking lizard with an alien like appearance. They are referred to as ‘False Chameleons’ because they resemble chameleons with similar eyes that are capable of moving independently. 👽

The first baby Fiji Iguana has finally hatched! This is the first time this species is bred in Portugal and we wish to continue the good work and help raise the numbers of these incredible animals! Still raining lots but food is food! Here are two very different species from two diferent parts of the world! One of our female Mexican spiny tailed iguanas (ctenosaura similis) sharing some tortoise diet with a Bell’s Hingeback tortoise (kinixys belliana) from Africa.
