Rescued just in time not to end up the killing shelter ☠️, this female 🐕 with her 4 puppies 🐶🐶🐶🐶 (which we will introduce in the next few days) came to our shelter. The mom is a typical stray dog 🐕 that learned to get along with other dogs on the street and she must not have made bad experiences with people since she is trusting people 👫. In terms of size, she is a very handy dog, she does not have more than 45cm shoulder height. Now that she has raised her puppies 🐶🐶🐶🐶 with a lot of love ❤️, it would finally be time that someone 👫 takes care of her now. 🐶 New arrival is looking for a home and/or sponsorship 🐶

This husky (mix?) lady was begging for food 🦴🍖🍗 near a supermarket. Completely exhausted, she finished laying down between the cars to sleep 😴 Of course we couldn't let her and with a lot of patience Dragos managed to get her in his car 🚘 In the shelter, we found out that she is chipped. But the condition of her fur and the fact that she was full of worms 🪱 made us believe that she has been on the street for a longer time. And after contacting her owner, who doesn't want her any more 😡, our guess was confirmed that she's just another unwanted dog that got abandoned 😡

Our oldie, which we found more dead 🤒 than alive on the street, has developed very well in a short time 🤗 He is no longer thin, his fur has already become more beautiful and since a few days, he has been really happy 🥳 and fit ! If you imagine that his life was hanging by a thread due to babesiosis 🤢 and only a blood transfusion 🩸 saved him from death ☠️, then this is almost a miracle 🙏! Our oldie is very grateful! He loves ❤️ his bed and loves to be petted 🥰 He is simply happy about everything he has and expresses his joy 🥳 by happily jumping and giving his paw. Fore sure, he hasn't had a good time in his life so far 😢, he is really enjoying his current situation 🥹 But the winter 🌧💨❄️ is coming and especially for the old dogs this is not easy 😢 We wish for our oldie, that he could spend a few more beautiful years in a family 👫, where he would finally find out what it means to be loved ❤️. He deserves to lie in a warm bed 🛌 and not that his old bones have to spend another winter ❄️💨🌧 here in Romania 🇷🇴. Even old dogs deserve a chance 🍀 for a better life. 🐶 Looking for sponsorship 🐶

Puppies, puppies, puppies and even more puppies 🥹
This little female 🐕 gave birth to puppies 🐶🐶🐶🐶 in the middle of a pedestrian zone 😱 Thank God 🙏 a woman felt pity for them and took them to the vet 👨‍⚕️. The woman wanted to take the dogs home with her other 34‼️dogs in an apartment. However, the vet 👨‍⚕️ didn't agree and suggested to ask Dragos for help 🙏. That's what she did and now 4 more puppies 🐶🐶🐶🐶, all males, with their mom 🐕 arrived in our shelter. A few weeks ago Dragos recieved a phonecall. A woman was crying on the phone and asked for his help 🙏. The woman’s neighbors wanted to call the dog catchers ☎️ to get rid of a dog family 🐕🐶🐶🐶🐶 from her neighborhood. What does a dog catcher mean for Romanian 🇷🇴 straydogs? Unfortunately 😢 nothing good! The dogs that got caught end up in killing shelters 😭. That's why the woman was so desperate 😢 Of course we took the family 🐕🐶🐶🐶🐶 in our shelter. A mother 🐕 with her 4 puppies 🐶🐶🐶🐶, 2 females and 2 males. The mother isn’t very large, about 40 cm, so we think that her puppies that are now about 5 months old, will not be much bigger. This is Mino, how he is holding on to me, so that I don't leave him alone in the kennel 😢 No wonder, he has been his whole life in the shelter, sleeping on hard and cold ground, had to go from a shelter to the next and has already been bitten several times 😓 All the stress is hitting on Mino's stomach, which is why he doesn't eat a lot and is extremely skinny🥺
A few weeks ago, Mino moved from our foster place to our new shelter 🎉 This was the first time in his life that he could run free in our playground! It was a real pleasure 🥳 to see him so happy! We hope that from now on better times will come for him! Therefore it is finally time ⏰ to find a family 👫 for Mino, because being close to his owner is his biggest wish! 🖤 ​​His family should already have dog experience, due to his past, Mino is a little shy at first, but when he is trusting a person 👫, he loves this person to bits and is following him everywhere. Our Balu is slowly growing from a puppy 🐶 to a teenager 🐕‍ In May, Balu came to our shelter at the age of 3 months. He has developed into a wonderful dog. Balu is super nice, very friendly and always in a good mood. Why does nobody seems to like Balu❓Maybe because he's black 🤔, we have no idea⁉️ We have a lot of black dogs that never get a request 😢 The adoptions are going bad at the moment, and the shelter is full of dogs that are looking for their forever home 😓 To be able to help more dogs, we need space and that's why it‘s important that our dogs finally find a home 🏡.

It took a really long time 😓 until Hope found a godparent and finally got a name. Hopefully 🍀 it won't take this long again until she will finally find a home 🏡. Hope is now almost 1 year old and the most beautiful present 🎁 for her birthday would be to find her forever family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Our Zoya, a super friendly 6 month old female 🐶 is looking for her happiness 🍀 4 months ago she came to our shelter with her 2 siblings 🐶🐶, but unfortunately they were so sick 🦠 that they didn't survive 😢. Zoya is super friendly and kind, very cuddly and gets along well with every dog. A dog with such a good character deserves to find his happiness🍀 and should definitely not grow up in the shelter. It's always difficult to find a home for adult dogs that nobody wanted as puppies 😢 For those dogs, this often means that they will stay in the shelter for a lifetime. Winter 🌨 is coming, the days are much shorter, the rain 🌧 is more often on the agenda and so is the mud. For this rainy season, a dog like Lucy 🐕, with her short hair, is perfect! I know what I'm talking about when, I have to clean 2 dogs with long hair every day after walking 🤣
Our Lucy is such a trusting and cuddly dog, she prefers to be with people and to be petted, than to run around like the other dogs 🐕🐩 when they get out in the playground. Lucy is also a very handy dog ​, she hasn’t more than 40cm. She gets along very well with the other dogs and is always in a good mood 🥳 Lucy is a bit over a year old, sterilized and just waiting to finally find her forever family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. She had a home 🏡 in Romania 🇷🇴, but unfortunately her owner was an alcoholic 🍺 and didn't take good care of her 😢 We took her out of there to give her the chance 🍀 to find a better home 🏡. She is super cute ❤️ cuddly, a quiet dog, never looking for a fight with other dogs,totally easygoing, knows life in a house 🏡 and can walk on a leash. 🐶New arrival🐶

The daily life of a street dog 🐕: looking for food 🍗 and water 💧, looking for a place to sleep 🛏, fighting with other males when a female 🐩 is in heat, diseases 🦠 and very often it ends with death 😢 The rescue of this male 🐕, of about 10 years, came at the last minute‼️ We found him near a restaurant where he was looking for food 🍗🍗. The way he looks like, he must not have found much food lately 😢 He was in a critical condition, aside from being very skinny, he also looked sick 🤢. After we caught him, we went straight to the vet 🏥. Babesiosis was detected in a very advanced stage 😢 Without a blood transfusion the poor boy would have had no chance to survive. And then a wonder 🍀 happened, he simply didn’t give up, he fought and survived ☺️ After one week in the clinic, the fighter 💪🏻 was able to leave it and is now recovering from his illness 🤒 in our shelter. The good boy is looking for a godfather/godmother who will accompany him on his way to full recovery. If you want to sponsor him, please feel free to send us a PM 💌

Our Foxy 🦊 a 2.5 year old male, is a very friendly and cuddly dog, he is a bit more dominant with other dogs, but lives with other dogs in a paddock with no problem. Eventhough Foxy 🦊 is no longer a puppy, he is still playful 🥳 and active. We would see him in a family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 who likes to work with him and possibly challenge him with a dog sport 🎾. In Tunari, the town 🏘 in which our shelter is, not far from Bucarest, new dogs 🐕🐩🦮🐕‍🦺 keep appearing on the street, although we have already taken many dogs in our shelter and although we already spayed many.
These 2 sisters 🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺 also appeared out of nowhere. It's a tunnel without an end 😢
Ginny 🐕‍🦺 and her sister Willow 🐕‍🦺 , are 2 young females about +/- 6 months and although they are still young, they are quite calm , very sweet, good with other dogs 🐕🐩 and very cuddly 🥰 When you start to pet them, they demand more and more and would stay for hours to be petted 😍 The only thing they are asking for, is a lot of love ❤️. 😢Our unwanted dogs😢

We don't want to forget our unwanted dogs and dedicate a post to them 🙏 All these dogs 🐕 are special in their own way and that's why we haven't found a home 🏡 for them yet. Some these dogs are very scared 😢 or have a really difficult character. These dogs would mean a lifetime work 💪🏻 for their future owner. But nothing is impossible and hope 🤞🏻 dies last. ‼️Looking for a home - in foster place in Belgium ‼️

Some people just don't deserve a dog‼️

In June, at the age of 5/6 months, little Simba came to his family 👨‍👩‍👧 in Luxembourg 🇱🇺. After 5 days‼️‼️ the family wanted to bring Simba to the shelter because he wasn't clean 🤦🏻‍♀️ After a lot of discussions, they decided to give Simba another chance 🍀, and apparently things went better. But only until this month, now they definitely didn't want Simba anymore. If we believe the woman’s description of Simba, then he is a real monster 👿. It was clear that Simba wasn’t treated well there and we had to take him out as soon as possible. Thank God 🙏 we found a foster place very quickly. The foster family describes Simba as a perfect dog 🥰
Of course, Simba still needs education, because he didn’t learn a lot in the last 3 months. If somebody has a dog at home for 3 months and has only 1 photo‼️of the dog, that says enough, doesn't it⁉️ And Simba needs excercise, like any young dog. Simba is insecure with strangers for the first 30 seconds and then he already comes to be petted, he is very playful, loves children 👶👧🧒 of all ages, knows cats 🐈, lives with other dogs 🐕 🐩, he also knows the car 🚘 and he knows to walk on the leash, but a second dog 🐕 is surely an advantage for his insecurities, he is also clean, but sometimes he can't control his p*e when he's happy or when he's scared 😖, staying alone is also ok for him. We don't think that all of this sounds like a monster 👿, or are we wrong? Every dog ​​is only as good as it is trained or not trained. Simba needs sensitive and empathic 💞 people who will give him the love ❤️ he deserves. He unfortunately missed a lot in his young months, he has to make up for it all now. Unfortunately one sister of us is missing... 😢 Beautiful Uma is still in Romania in the shelter... We finally want to meet her again, we miss her a lot. Soon will be our birthday 🎉🎁 but she won't be here to celebrate with us. 😭
