It has been 4 days yet I still can't get this talk out of my head. What an honor it was to hear Bob Bailey speak in one of his last public appearances. A true legend that took the science out of the lab and brought it to light. His teachings and lectures have fuled thousands of aspiring dog trainers and will continue to do so after many years!

Boundary games or "Paturica" as we call it, are the cornerstones of our training philosophy! Its advantages are limitless: it can be used in dog sports or solving issues such as jumping on visitors. In multidog households it becomes essential for a harmonious house and teaches dogs to take turns.
Here you can see Anca and her dogs, Luna and Sasha, taking their boundaries to the next level! Luna has a hard time sharing and yet with practice they can now work alongside without incidents!
A big round of applause to the fur-parents for never giving up, for thier energy and most of all for making training something fun!

Our dogs go through their day and life making a lot of choices! This is a 24/7 process and can become quite tiring and tired dogs don't always make.good choices. We make a point from early on that dogs need a place ( crate/xpen/raised bed/blanket) where they can settle and be calm as a cucumber and where they feel safe and happy. For this we use BOUNDARY GAMES!
Here we have Enya ( she is a foster pup looking for her human in the care of the Wonderful Roxana from Volunteer Hearts & Homes - The adoption book) practicing the early stages of boundary games. She is such a smart little pupper that got more than lucky to have such a diligent and wonderful foster mom! I can't wait to see how this gorgeous team progresses towards a Reinforcement Rich Life!

This morning we were surprised with workers. It seems my family tends to make plans without including me. Yet with our gamechanger mentality we turned this scenario into an opportunity. We practiced calm and DMT a lot and we also had fun with construction materials. Fr**ga and Odin had a blast on the sand mound! Such an enrichment opportunity. Besides the physical benefits they had a lot of fun and we enven managed to squeeze in some stays and middle.

Azi de dimineata ne-am trezit cu echipa de constructii la poarta. Cineva a uitat sa ma anunte si pe mine 🤷‍♀️ Am vazut situatia ca pe o oportunitate si am jucat joculete din categoria calmului si mult DMT. Ne-am si distrat cu noul deal de nisip! Pe langa faptul ca a fost super distractiv am apucat sa repetam si cateva din joculetele preferate.

Congratulations Muha and for your results at the Poliesti IDS 4.07.2020! Muha showed beautifully! Oxana worked hard to get here and she was rewarded 10 fold. Muha is amazing, she is a dream dog. Calm and collected, focused, lives for proximity is amazing with children and just a joy to have around. It makes me so happy to see the results of training, dedication and passion! For 2 years we concentrated on training outside the situation and shaped the brain using concepts and games. With minimal help form my side this team is flourishing and will be a joy to watch in the future!

Felicitari Oxanei si Muha pentru rezultatele obitinute la IDS Ploiesti 4.07.2020! Muha s a prezentat exceptional! Oxana a investit timp iar astazi Muha a raspaltit o inzecit. Muha este un caine de vis! Calma, atenta, orientata carte stapan, dornica de proximitate, fantastica cu copiii si o placere sa o ai in preajma. Ma bucur cand studentii nostri au succes si vad rezultatele eforturilor si pasiunii investite. 2 ani de zile ne am concentrat pe remodelarea creierului folosindu-ne de concepte si jocurile aferente lor, in afara situatiei si astazi Oxana s a simtit pregatita sa puna tot ce a invatat in aplicare. Cu un pic de ghidaj din partea mea aceasta echipa se dezvolta exceptional si o sa fie o placere sa le urmaresc in continuare!

Today is one of our favorite days! It s CHAOS day!!! The dogs love this game more then anything. It taps into thier love of scavenging and build lots of optimism and confidence. It teaches the dog to dive right into the unknown with confidence and FUN!

The summer heat is hitting us hard. It s becoming more and more difficult to enjoy long walks and outdoor activities, at least at reasonable hours. One of our favorite pass time and enrichment activity is " the glorious frozen Kong"
To say i love this tool is an understatement! Not only does it provide enrichment it also is a valuable tool in our Calmness protocol and helps us bring the arousal level down. In addition it s the best icecream you can offer your dogs!

After 30 minutes of hard work i have tired and calm puppers. The recepie for this batch is: fresh steamned salmon with pumpkin and a touch of their favorite canned food. All nicely blended and stuffed in the Kong.

Hello lovely fellow dog lovers!

We practice what is called opportunistic training besides the normal scheduled training sessions. We make it our goal to never miss an opportunity to reinforce the good choices our dogs make.
After a nice forest walk, as we were chilling on the porch with the small ones we randomly strated to practice some "be pretty"

P.s excuse the muddy floor, after cleaning it a couple of times we just gave up!🤣 the preks of having a garden and rain.

Just another adventure in the forest. One of the reasons i wanted to become a dog trainer was my motivation to be able to enjoy stress free walks in the forst with my dogs. I wanted them to be able to have fun and just be dogs yet also be safe and recall from distractions and potential dangerous situations.

A beautiful friendship!
Contrary to popular belief dogs and cats can be friends. All it takes it proper introductions and a bit of conditioning.
As for the training concepts we teach our dogs, we will mention:
- impulse control
- calmness
- disengagement
These 3 concepts should be taught before any contact has place. That being said there are dogs and cats that just get along naturally. I am fortunate enough to have such lovely cretures in my life
