When pets/animals hurt you, it’s usually your fault. This is because animals can never be malicious, they only act on instinct.

My baby Uni had the zoomies this morning and got even more hyper when I ran around with him. Filled with cuteness aggression (gigil), I picked him up and buried my face in his body. He freaked out, bit my hair, and scratched up my face 😆

This was when I came back to my senses and paid more attention to his body language. Uni knew he hurt me and it stressed him out. He didn’t want to be touched and was begging for me to open the door and leave my room. So I opened the door and let him do what he needed to do to calm down.

When he was better, I came over to apologize and we made up ❤️

Doesn’t mean he’s a bad cat. It means I read his body language and energy levels wrong.

So it makes me feel bad when pets are kicked out or winawala because of instances like this, when it really wasn’t the animal’s fault but the fault of the human.
