On Saturday the craziness in the Swedish Dog world begins...again.

For me the BIGGEST bittersweet dog show of them all is coming up this
upcoming weekend in STOCKHOLM. It's the only dog show in the world that makes my stomach turn...and I've been to a few since my first ever show Handling a dog in 1980, a whole year before I actually got my first dog even.

She was Golden Retriever called Zita.

Today I'm still holding a RECORD since that last BIS WIN in -04 out of the TWO, the first in -03 at The Stockholm Int. Show which made HISTORY!
My dude & once in a lifetime dog Thorn's & mine Historical BIS WIN STILL STANDS, TO THIS DAY. And is really hard to beat, IF by any chance anyone would dare trying to beat it.

It'll be an mpossible task, I dare say. :)

I dunno the exact reason for all the weirdness though, but kinda sorta do cuz in Sweden we got something that named JANTELAGEN

But boy, I have some awesome memories to go with all that as well :)

And of course I have to mention my performance of the BEST IN SHOW ANTHEM in 2009 and I can't help it getting nostalgic when hearing the speaker Kenneth Edh at the end of the clip, whom I btw got to know while I were in high school still and we both were active breeding Hamsters for show..

Memories... On the cover on one of, if not THE most recognized Dog Magazine in Europe as the first person ever to be featured as the magazine previously only had dogs on the cover.

After Handling the Canadian bred, Russian owned Afghan hound to #1 Top Winning Dog Of The Year of All breeds in Russia and we later represented Russia at The Eukanuba World Challenge held in Long Beach California, USA.

Eftermiddag till Kvällskurs i Stockholms innerstad vilken dag som helst under nästa vecka.

För er som inte har gått kurs för mig tidigare är detta ett utmärkt tillfälle.
Utan överdrift vågar jag påstå att förutom mina 30+ år som Instruktör är jag nog den bredaste och vinstrikaste av Handlers vad det gäller av SAMTLIGA HUNDRASER som utställningar, kurser och elever som spänner sig över hela Europa samt USA & Kanada bla.

During my googling and researching after stuff from past Handling classes etc. to upload unto this page I found this great interview of one of Swedens Top Junior Handlers Vilhelmina Walldén. I guess it's from some time ago but never the less what she's says here makes me so very proud and touched.
And as an Instructor this has always been my goal and I want all my students to have the best of success in the show ring and I will bend over backwards to make that happen too! Thank you Vilhelmina!

The English Dogazine Our Dogs has been so very supportive of me for many years and I've been featured and recognised in the paper several times and I am so very grateful for that.

When I started to show around Europe more and more I came a cross this amazing magazine and nomatter in which country I was in, there they were! The publishers and the photographers of this Russian produced dogazine that covered ALL the major shows with both great photos and what I then understood detailed written reviews from each show.

The only "problem" was that's the whole magazine was written in Russian.

So when the organiser of my first Handling class in Moscow, actually the first Handling class in Russia ever, Maria Evteeva & I were told that The Hot Dog Magazine were coming to the the classes to make a big spread about my classes I were of course thrilled!

And when the publisher and photographer arrived to the venue, not only did they inform me that they've now decided to write the magazine in English and the upcoming issue with the big report in it they were there to make, they also was going to put me on the cover of the magazine as the first person ever as all the previous covers had been photos of dogs only.

The cover photo of me and the Afghan is taken while we were still on the podium after going BERT IN SHOW at Russiast biggest dogshow Eurasia were some 20.000 dogs were entered each year (pre Covid) and we didn't know then, because in Russia the dogs also get points from show wins abroad, but later the dog also became Dog Of The Year of all breeds and we were flewn to Long Beach California, USA to represent Russia at The Eukanuba World Challenge.

What an honour!

Here you can scroll through the whole issue and if you look closely, because now FOURTEEN YEARS has passed(!) you can maybe recognize some of the now world famous top Russian Handlers from the report.
And part from that I'm sure you'll recognize some familiar faces on all the photos covering reports from all the bigger shows in the world from Crufts in the UK to the Eurodog show & the World Show from that year 2008, it's truly is worth a look and when you're at it check out all the other mags published after this to me very special issue :)

Previous to this show the little show stopper Bravo flew all the way from Sweden to Mexico for The World Dog Show, where we went Best Of Breed one of the days and also recieved his Mexican Championship!
