We think Cosmo has been sighted being walked around Emerald Lakes, I am looking for anyone in the area that could please help distribute posters, even just 1 on a local notice board or post office would be so helpful!! 🙏🙏 Thank you

Food was put out in the area's Cosmo was seen, although it was gone this morning, there were no real defined pawprints in the flour.. Tonight hopefully we will have some camera's set up..
If you are on any other community groups/pages, it would be appreciated if you could share, so if people see him, they know he is a lost dog, not just a wandering dog.. Cosmo may pop out anywhere in or through the reserve at the back of Haddon court, We just need updated sighting if anyone spots him, so we can get an idea of where he may be tracking.. Please remember, IGNORE him if you see him, that way you will not be threat to him..

Morning,
Cosmo may have been seen around 3pm yesterday at Haddon Court near the empty block of land, it would seem he is hiding out in the reserve at the back, and possibly near the creek.. if you live in or around this area, and have CCTV, could you please check your footage to see if you have caught him coming around looking for food at night? a couple of lovely ladies have offered to do food drops..
PLEASE DO NOT CALL, WHISTLE APPROACH HIM OR MOVE TOWARDS HIM..
Dogs in survival mode have a 'bubble' as long as you do not go within that bubble, he may be content to move around.. We need to keep him in the area untill Sommer can get back up from Coffs Harbor.. Its a very busy time of year for everyone, but how wonderful if we can get this little dog back for christmas!

I'm getting some help from a tracker Annette and she has this advice to share.

Cosmo has traveled an mind blowing 20 klm from where he first went missing, and was seen yesterday on Hikey Way.. A community plays a vital part in getting a lot dog home to it's people, and Im sure Cosmo has chosen this community for a reason.. Sommer had to go back to Coffs Harbour and is trying to make her way back, however until she does, we have to try and keep Cosmo in this area so he dosnt move on.. To do this we need some community people to help with food drops in the area he was spotted, and around that area.. Cosmos will be very hungry by now, and he is looking for food.. Cosmo is in survivial mode.. DOGS IN SURVIVAL MODE
What is survival mode?
This is a mental state a dog reverts to in times of extreme stress, it's a state of mind that is inbuilt into them to keep them safe.. Dogs that suffer a trauma or fright, are more likely to go into survival mode. In this mental state of mind, the dog will not recognise their owner or approach nor come to anyone, they are conditioned to flight if they see a threat, so
PLEASE DON'T CALL, WHISTLE OR TRY AND APPROACH
We use food and familiar scent items to try bring a dog out of survival mode so they will recognise their owners..
Sommer needs help to try and keep cosmo in this area until she can get back up, we need a few people who would be willing to do food drops in and around the area he was last seen, to place the food late afternoon after crows and bush turkeys have gone to bed and check again early next morning.. if you can help, please post below.. link to cosmo's page is below

Cosmo went missing on the 02/12 from Freeman's lookout Lower Beechmont. He was last seen around the middle of Hikey Way Carrara at 8am on the 15/12.
