Hi Everyone!

🐾Week 6 puppy update!🐾

Vet check up today! 💉 We had our vaccinations and microchipping done today. These are brave and resilient little ones! They tolerated them really well. The vet was also happy as to how they have grown 🙂 I am also in the process of sending paperwork with microchips to the new owners.

🐾Week 5 puppy update!🐾

Only 2-3 weeks left until the puppies will to their new homes. Time is now flying away, but getting closer until the new owners will be able to love the little ones as much as I am 😍 Those white streaks you see on the puppies is the Wheaten coat coming through. But as much as they like cooked meat, puppy food and yoghurt, nothing beats mummy’s milk (even though they have their scissor teeth coming through and bite poor Rada from time to time to play with them 😅).

Where is the time going? It must be getting closer to the day these little ones are due to go to their new homes. Their smooth fur is starting to fluff up, and now they’re looking more like Wheaten Terriers!

Playground set-up ✅ Time for the puppies to be wild and playful, until they see me... Then it’s crying and wingeing so that I can come inside to join them. They surely are growing fast now!

The puppies are 4 weeks today, so only 3-4 weeks until they will head off to their new homes. They are becoming truely magnificent escape artists! Their puppy playpen is just to small for them now.

🐾Week 3 puppy update!🐾

Sorry about the delays in posting photos and videos recently. It was quite hot the past week and it was of utmost importance to allow the puppies and our dogs to stay cool during this time. I hope everyone affected by the heat stays cool, and stays safe! 😄

Once the sun settles down though, I’m transitioning the puppies in a cage to the outside so that they can get used to the outside. I don’t do it late in the evening, as I still want them to absorb some sun to help them with their growth 🙂

Even though the puppies have started to eat by themselves, they still rely on mummy’s milk to boost their immune system and gain valuable nutrients from her milk! (They’re quite big and grown compared to my last video of the little ones sucking milk 🙂 )

Hi Everyone!

🐾Week 3 puppy update! 🐾

The puppies are 3 weeks old today and boy how they’ve grown this week! Looking back, when I posted the week 2 update, they just started to glimpse at the world. Now, they’re starting to eat and drink from a bowl and run around playing with each other.

This week I am hoping that they’ll become more active and playful, so plenty of more videos to come this week 🙂 I’ll also finish reviewing this year’s puppy information booklet and will be emailing that through hopefully by the end of Friday.

Today we started to feed them a mix of organic Greek yoghurt and warm boiled water. They’re really enjoying it, even though most of it ended up on themselves with their mummy cleaning them afterwards. But was such a funny sight to watch! 😍

We’re starting to take them outside into the sun so that they can start absorbing some Vitamin D, especially so that their bones start to become strong and sturdy with all the running around that they’ll have to do!☀️

Hi everyone!

🐾Week 2 puppy update🐾

2 very happy news! Not only the puppies became 2 weeks old today, but late last night I’ve noticed a sparkle in one puppy’s eye 👀. This morning I had a look again and their eyes began to open. It is a beautiful moment and milestone, and wanted to share with you straight away! They are still blind as their eyes adapt to the outside world, but most likely they will start seeing and hearing through-out this week. This also means playtime as they will start to discover their siblings, be able to see their mummy for the first time, and be able to learn about these big giants who are constantly looking after them (us! 😉 ). They are able to support themselves to walk longer, and soon they will be running around, growling and playing!! And of course, shouldn’t forget about their baby teeth, too 🙂

Have I mentioned that Rada-the mummy of the current litter- LOVES water? 😉 I guess she found a clever way to cool off! This is a large dog water bowl at our local dog park -Rada, 1 year old.

Sleeping puppies 😴 We got some toys out for the puppies, and of course Rada needed to play with them first and chew the noses off 🐶 Can’t believe they are nearly 2 weeks!

Hi Everyone!

To change things up from puppy photos (I’ll post more puppy photos later this evening), I just would like to show you our current litter’s parents and grandparents (so you’ll have a rough idea how the puppies will turn out)!
The parents Rada and Hunter are both pure-bred Wheaten Terriers. As you can see, Hunter (the dad) has a more white, silky coat and Rada (the mum) has a more wheaten, fluffy coat.
The next 2 photos are of mum and dad of Rada (both of who we know). The one in the basket 😉 is the dad, whose coat Rada inherited. And the ribboned Wheaten is her mum, who has the white coloration.
Lastly (since I love my Rada to bits), are some photos of baby Rada! She was the darkest of her litter as well 🙂

Lastly, just a couple of adorable photos I managed to capture today 😍
I’m noticing they love to sleep on their back after a full meal! You sometimes forget that their skin is very light pink with all that brown fur 🦁

The puppies are now 1 week old! Now only 6-7 weeks left before they will meet their new owners 🐶 Not long to go now. By the end of the week or beginning of next week, we’re looking forward to their first milestone-eye openings. It is such an exciting milestone when it’ll arrive. I’m allergic to animals, will this breed be good for me? SCWT are hypo-allergic and not NON-allergic. This means that heavily affected individuals with asthma and allergies to animal oils/saliva are still susceptible to triggers. Allergy risk is low for this breed because they do not shed hairs and they do not/rarely bark (spitting saliva into the air). It’s been a busy day today, as always, but here are more puppy update photos! Today the puppies had their first vet check-up and are growing very rapidly and strong! As always, drinking mother’s milk and sleeping all day long, as well as having a whinge once in a while haha.

As I mentioned earlier, the puppies are feeding well and gaining weight steadily. This is mostly what they do at the moment, as well as sleeping 😉 Will be more exciting when they’ll start to crawl, as at the moment they are only wriggling!
