Our Story

WHY WON’T HE EAT?

WONDERBOO was founded in 2014 when one of our dogs refused to eat. Ham was ok, but dog food – no thanks. This lead us to take a long hard look at the dog food industry, trying to understand what dog food normally is made from. The findings were that the business had not changed much in the past 50 years: it was driven by low cost resulting in products of very poor quality. This is where the idea of a truly healthy dog food brand was born.

WE ARE HERE TO IMPROVE DOGS’ HEALTH

WONDERBOO was founded to produce healthy dog food and to challenge global players to push for new standards in pet food – first out is dog food!

SUPERFOOD FOR DOGS

WONDERBOO is made from only the finest natural Swedish and Finnish ingredients and all products are based on 80% fresh meat/tripe/fish. The rest of the ingredients are made up of fresh broccoli, blueberries, carrots, a bit of oxblood (rich in proteins and iron), a bit of extra TLC in the form of vitamins and minerals and a tiny bit of potato fibres (to bring the food together).

AIR DRIED FRESH FEED

Instead of manufacturing our food as kibble, which is done under with high pressure and at temperatures in excess of 250 degrees Celsius, we use a gentle way of preparing the food by air-drying it. This assures that the all-natural nutrients, as well as flavours, are preserved.

IS WONDERBOO EXPENSIVE?

When compared to other brands, bear in mind WONDERBOO is a high-performance brand with 5300KCL/KG – meaning a little goes a long way. The price per serving for a mid-size, 10 kg dog, is approx. €1.40/day – which is not a lot given all the benefits the dogs will enjoy!
