Eddie, my much loved, beautiful fur baby turned 12 the other day. He fills our life with laughter and joy. Summer is here and we are ready for new adventures. So in this pic he is just re-charging his batteries 😍. Whoever we meet they can not believe he is a senior. He still goes for long walks twice a day and follows along on all vacations. With a help of hip and joint supplements we can still keep his arthritis under control.

Always on our mind 🐕🐾🐈‍⬛🐾☀️

What would a vacation be without finishing it off by visiting InterZoo in Nürnberg on our way home through Germany. The fair is on only every second year so we made a stop and spend a total of 7h there and still did not get a chance to visit all the halls 😉 It is huge and very enlightening. A lot of new innovative solutions that we hope we will be able to bring to Sweden.

In one word - it was a BLAST 💥 We met with fantastic people and tried a lot of treats. Eddie and Lucia had a hard time finding somewhere to p*e since there where not many dogs (no cats 🙀) present. Some stands were also bigger than others as you can see on the attached pics.

BTW Soup for dogs? Any interest out there? 🐶

Last but not least, Lucia was so overwhelmed by all the noice so she hid and tried to sleep it off in my lap. Eddie on the other hand loved it. Licked a lot of hands and faces and was wiggling his tail all the time ❤️ still cannot believe his 12th birthday is coming up soon 🥹 He loves traveling, loves the car and loves meeting new people as well as new furry friends.

Over 550 local exhibitors plus 200 foreign ones and a lot of dressed up pets in strollers. That was quite a surprise for us 🙃

Have we been introduced?

It has been a long while since we shared some personal info about us behind the brand.

This business is run by two friends, Irena and Kristi, whose hearts beat an extra beat for furry babies.

Since my business partner Kristie’s vizsla Chili died of cancer last year it has been very difficult to continue posting. And it still is. I (Irena, a co-founder of VetHelp and author of this post) try to keep the account alive, share some pictures of the rest of the pack, Lucia (a rescue mix between a JR and a sausage dog) and Eddie (a 12 years old dynamite JR) but it is an emotional struggle. We would like to thank you for hanging tough and following us ❤️

We have decided when starting VetHelp that we will dedicate a part of our profits to help dogs who are not as fortunate as our own. Today we support dog rescue organizations in Hungary - where Chili was rescued from and the country where our VetHelps Recovery Line is manufactured. Thank you for making that possible by being our ambassadors 🐾

We both have full time jobs besides VetHelps but hope that we will be adding some new innovative pet product to our portfolio soon and expand to other countries besides Scandinavia so we can dedicate our work days to VetHelp alone 😊

I wish you all LOVE, HAPPINESS, HEALTH and JOY. You know the moments in life that bring tears in your eyes? This is what happened to me this morning when walking Eddie and Lucia. Eddie, always eager to explore turned around and went back where we came from. And a minute later we met with a gentle elderly woman who gave me first one cloverleaf and when I thanked her from the bottom of my heart she gave me one more for health of my dearest.

🙀🪥🦷 We stumbled upon this article that did not take us by surprise. When we adopted Lucia, our rescue dog from she was a picky eater. So a vet suggested we give her cat food instead. I was chocked to discover that most of the cat canned food had added sugar. And I am no dentist or a vet to know that sugar is a no go for healthy gums and teeth. What was your reaction to this discovery?

🌈🐾🖤 Our pack will never be the same. We lost Chili to invasive blod cancer on Friday. As a pet owner, this is the day you can never prepare for. Chili was rescued stray that showered us with his love and affection. Now ❤️

Today is a good day, tomorrow we do not know. 💔 Chili is recovering from surgery in mom Kristis embrace. He has lost a lot of blood due to a large tumor that has caused a rapture to his spleen and with that an extensiv internal bleeding. The spleen is removed and the tumor with it. All good for now but with our two seniors every new day is a gift 🎁 Life is short folks. Spoil you dog like there is no tomorrow❣️
