Unfortunately, the day we dreaded has arrived. Our new owner has informed us that they will be taking back the unit that houses our furry felines, leaving us with a critical need to find a new home for our furry friends. If we can’t secure a new unit soon, many of our rescued cats may face uncertain futures. Our community depends on us as a safe haven for stray and abandoned cats, and we risk disrupting not only their lives but the compassionate network we've built over the years.
We have identified a perfect new location that meets all our needs, ensuring every cat has a safe space to thrive. But to make this move, we urgently need to raise $20k-30k. These funds will cover the initial lease, essential renovations, and moving costs to ensure our cats transition smoothly and without stress.

2ndchance shelter have been struggling to sustain our operations, which resulted in a decline in the number of cases that we took on.
Our primary costs include medical bills, food and boarding. Every cat that we take in is sent to our appointed vets for a complete blood count to ensure they are not positive for fiv/felv tests , sterilised, vaccinated, microchipped and a physical check to ensure they are not injured or open wounds left untreated. Our vet bills average $4,000 per month and if a cat is injured or positive for fiv/frov with ckd etc the bills may go as high as $6,000.
We provide kibbles for the cats under our care as well as the We spend about $3,500 per month on kibbles and we hope to raise enough funds to sustain for the next month.
'Cat boarding' is a challenge that we had to face, particularly for a couple of rescues that we are not been able to rehome due to behavioural issues and medical issues.
Our average monthly costs ranges between $5000 to $6000 on supplements, medication etc. This is massive for a small Animal Welfare Group like us.

These kitties are urgently looking for homes since we kept receiving complaints from as***le neighbour who just moved in and anti cats and racist. HdB and tv did came and gave some adv thou they hv known is for over 10 yrs but they do understand that time is needed or less they hv to take back the cats and release back to where they were from and increased more complaints from residents complaints. I m healthy and still young (less than 4) and yet no one wants me. I was abandoned by my owner, founder and rescuer and has been under the care of 2ndchance shelter but won't be long as 'mummy' is angry with me as I m a single cat household and I dun 'respect' others boundaries and all of them are unhappy with me now.
