Is ur cat depressed?
we can only observe their behaviors to determine whether they experience a lack of interest in life and may be suffering from depression. Unlike us human, with depression we experience constant feeling of sadness and the lack of interest in life.
Causes of depression in cats.
Depression in cats has a variety of causes but usually occurs due to changes in their environment, inappropriate or poor care, or lack of appropriate enrichment.
There can be several reasons why a cat gets depressed, and it's a good idea to take your pet to the veterinarian for a full checkup to rule out potential health conditions that could be causing these behavioral changes. If your vet gives the cat a clean bill of health, then depression could be the underlying cause of the issues.

We have Lychee 🐈 and Oscar 🐈here.
Unfortunately for Lychee she has already passed on suspect due to stress. As she was fostered at a multi cat household where she was being bullied all the time. And she probably couldn’t take it anymore and just passed on suddenly one day.
For Oscar, he was rehomed 4 times, cuz he was being too ‘clingy’. And for the 5th time his behaviour changed, he became very reserved and scared of human. Whenever he was being left alone, he will be screaming at the top of his lungs. Whenever rehomer visit him he will shiver as he is so afraid he will get rejected and get sent back again! His depression got better after a year of tender loving care.
