𝑰𝒏 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒊𝒓𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑮𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒓

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of two beloved souls, Aira and Gor Gor.

Aira, our brave survivor from the streets of Singapore, fought valiantly against her illness but quietly left us during the long holidays. Her life was filled with challenges, but she found safety and love in our care. Though she struggled to trust, we hope she felt how deeply she was cherished.

Gor Gor, our wise and gentle senior, lived a remarkable 22 years on the streets of Singapore. Recently rescued from a tragic mass poisoning case at Meiling Street, Gor Gor was removed from the only home he had ever known. Despite his resilience, the trauma of losing his familiar surroundings and loved ones weighed heavily on him. Sadly, he passed away, likely from a broken heart on top of all his other health issues.

We are thrilled to receive 3 bags of Reflex dry food and 6 cartons of canned food! 🐾 Our sweet rescue cat, D2, wants to give a big thank you to Feeder Aunty Aishan for donating all this yummy food. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated! ❤️

Feeder Aisha treated the cats in the cattery to some delicious fried fish and steamed chicken ! 🐱🐟🍗 All the cats are loving their feast! ❤️

This past week, we welcome new lives in the cattery ( mommy cat with her kittens), we also bade farewell to some of our dearest.

Huahua, one of our most senior cats at the cattery had departed for the rainbow bridge on 11 July after battling some health issues. She was more than 15 years old. We hope we didn't disappoint her during her years at our small sanctuary even though we had wished for her to have a home. She now joins her siblings, Feimao and Nite Nite. Farewell sweet Huahua!

We also conducted a simple burial for the Angel Kitten from mommy cat who was simply too weak.
We had seen our fair share of neonatals death and we truly hope authorities can do massive TNRM exercises especially at restricted areas & industrial parks because how many innocent lives must be lost ? Rest in peace sweet little baby. We will take care of your mommy and your siblings to the best of our capabilities.

At our small place, we cry buckets when we lost our dearest. We celebrate small wins when our cats got adopted. It may be insignificant to most people but we are affected because we care.

Meet our brave mummy cat! 🌸

Due to her advanced pregnancy, we took her in from the streets with the help of informant and supported her as she prepares to bring new lives into the world.

Today, on July 13th, at 9:40 AM, our brave mummy cat gave birth to 5 beautiful kittens. Unfortunately, one little soul didn't make it.

While our hearts ache for the one we lost, we are filled with joy for the four healthy babies who made it through.Wishing our mummy cat and her kittens a healthy and happy journey ahead. 💖🌈

We had a busy week!

For people who had been to our place, you will realise that this whole compound is noisy from all the dogs breeders units. This is something which we cannot choose or prevent but in order to make lives easier for our cats, we had recently installed some very much needed sound proof windows.

However, the costs for these windows are very expensive and we can only install 50% of what we set out to accomplish. We will try to save up again for the remaining 50%.

Seeing these cattos having some quiet peace from the chaos of the compound is a blessing for us and we will try our best to provide the best care that we can for them.

This is Walter. We believe he is Ben's brother because they look alike! (2nd photo from last year when both of them were healthier and younger!) Today, I had time to break the news of Ben's passing to Walter and his other family members. Somehow, Walter seems to understand what I've told him, he sits quietly in a loaf on a fallen piece of bedding on the floor for a long while. Also during today's subcut session, Walter was as still and "guai" as how Ben Ben use to be, usually Walter fidgets, struggles and walk about. I guess we all miss Ben Ben in our own ways, cat and human. - N
