Have you ever wondered why cats prefer boxes? Here's why!
1. Boxes provide a safe space
In stressful situations, a box or other enclosed space can help improve their mood and behaviour. That’s because they don’t have to worry about being surprised or attacked, by predators (like us!)
2. Cardboards keeps them warm
Cardboard is a great insulator. And the small space inside convinces your cat to curl up and relax in the cosy and warm space, as it retains their body heat. Basically, in your cat’s eyes, cardboard boxes are the comfiest and warmest beds in the world!
3. The best.. beds!
Forget your fancy cushy beds. Cardboard boxes are the perfect spot for snoozing and dreaming the day away. You may see a simple cardboard box, but your cat sees a safe and sheltered space ideal for those everyday catnaps.

These may be common thoughts that one might think when it comes to adopting a cat. While we recognize that there may be concerns, we hope that people are willing to give our cats a chance at life.
Some of our cats were given up by irresponsible owners, some - made to bore young kittens and then abandoned, and some - are from hoarder cases (due to irresponsible breeding). Do consider giving them a chance because they did not ask for a difficult life.

Of course our team will be around to keep a close eye, but we need you to play your part by keeping them closed too.
