[ • Appealing Funds for SweetSweet's hospital stay • ]

Sweet sweet is an abandoned cat to MeilingSt a couple of years ago. She's timid and always hiding in the drains, afraid of thunder, its very dangerous for her. Mdm Lim took her in her home for shelter over her head.

SweetSweet has had chronic intermittent vomiting for the last 2-3 months with acute onset of inappetance and diarrhoea. Basic bloodwork is unremarkable. Further diagnostics may be required such as further blood test ie pancreas check and abdominal imaging. Current medications include anti-nausea, gastric medication and antibiotics.

She has then been transfered to Beecroft hospital for observation. Nothing much have been done, only stay in observations for 3 days. She have been discharged and being observation at home. No reoccurance of vomiting for now.

Mdm Lim has been caring for 80 comcats daily with 2 meals, sincerely wish you can help to defray medical bills for SweetSweet 🙏 Times are tough now. She have placed a $1000 deposit to the hospital. Your help is greatly appreciated.

🤬 Theft AGAIN 🤬

3 days ago, 2 teenage Malay girls ( age 7-8 to 13-15only) attempted to steal our comcats , brought along their own carriers. They were being spotted by feeder Mdm Lim, she has stopped them and asked her to release the cats back! They are from Lengkok Bahru areas. Also told them 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍.

Later the evening, we learned that this kids 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍 this time w an adult watching afar. Being spotted by one of the resident. This time round they took 2 cats. The audacity? Resident made them return the 2 cats immediately.

Mdm Lim's phone was stolen last noon in broad day light. She was feeding the cat and handphone was in her bag at the trolley beside her. The a$$hole walked pass and put his hand in and took an old phone away, along with all identification cards and Atm card.

If you have to look for her urgently, pls contact Eugenia.

Will update once she get her phone replaced.

Curse that a$$hole for stealing an old woman's phone. with all the valuables stored in the phone, photos, contacts etc. 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

I also need to urge all feeders and rescuers to have your phone close to you at all times incase this incident happens to you. Its unfortunate. Police report have been made. & there is CCTV AT WHERE YOU TOOK THE PHONE.

‼️ URGENTLY LOOKING FOR FOSTERES/ADOPTERS ‼️

Kitty was being "left outside the house" even before owners posted for help to rehome kitty as wife was stuck in JB due to the endemic. Husband couldn't deal w the cat cus he needed a clean place to be a pious muslim man to pray 😑 and have hence abandon the poor innocent kitty. We are trying to locate it everyday at its block where its home initially was. 3 months later, we finally sight her 5 blocks away. she have been hiding in the drains which is unsafe, moreover its rainy season now again!! please give her a shelter over her head again. We do not wish for her to be wash away in the drains when it rains heavily. We are desperate, We are worried. We do not have excess funds to send her into boarding which will cost $300/month. We would love to find her a furever home! We wish that we do not have to leave her back on the street as a comcat.

🎉 Hooray, A happy Ending 🎉

We are happy to share that Our Senior cat, "ChaeMeh aka Chairman(bcus he lost his eye.) is now named Aries.

He was abandoned to MeilingSt many many years ago, when he came his eyes are already like that.We believe that he had untreated Conjunctivitis/flu etc, that resulted in the eye that has "been eaten away".

He have been adopted into a loving family who look pass his flaws. He has been a loving boy regardless all these years living on the streets. He finally have a shelter over his head, no longer needing to fend himself in the rain. He may lead a hard life before, but everything is over now. Look at the video, how manja he is..

A big thankyou for the adopter, Thankyou for taking Aries in. Thankyou for loving him. May God Bless you. ♡

If you have space in your home and more love to give, do adopt a street cat.. They deserve a home too. They didnt ask to be born on the streets or abandoned.

Any experienced trapper to help us ASAP?

Kitty is down w servere flu & having hoarse voice now. She is hiding in drain where we cannot reach her. It has been a couple of days we tried to lure her out with food, but failed. The drain area doesnt allow us to go down. We are at Wits Ends.

Can someone render some help, solutions etc ?

She cannot pull it thru if we are dragging longer.
She hasnt eat for 5 days even though food being offered. 😭😭😭

[Update On Dada #7]

Dada have been sent to the vet as he have signs of pale gums and he looks uncomfortable. Abdominal is unusually hard and lumpy, not the common constipated tummy. Ran a test and red blood count is low. He refused to eat and hasnt eaten over night. He have become serverely Dehydrated. We hope Dada can pull it through and get better soon 😣

[Update on Greygrey #2]

Greygrey have been discharged from the hospital and go for boarding as he still needs to get eye drops for 2 weeks, aiya bcus boarding is cheaper than hospital stay la. (Refer to receipts attached. $200) We are not able to return him back to the streets yet as we are afraid that he may get into another cat fight as there are some other tom cats around. Vet fees very expensive la.

At least we know he is safe and sound and doesnt need to go through the fight trauma again.

Dada has a review today, did another kidney function test, happy with the results that reading values are in normal range.

He would need to continue to be boarding to get subcut treatment every 2 days and Kidney diet food to maintain the readings.

[Update on GreyGrey 1]

Greygrey is recovering from the trauma to his eye. Blood clot have reduced significantly and the ulcers in the eye have healed. Just look at the photos for comparison. 😍

He would still require 2 more days of anti biotics and will start anti inflammatory afterwhich to reduce scaring to his eyes.

We have made payment of the total donation of $610 to the clinic. Bills are still on going, $900 is just a rough estimation for the hospital stay n treatment.

We saw him in the morning eyes unable to open and has pus w blood in it. We trapped him and sent him into Mt Plesant. Initially the Doctor thought he was abuse as the eyes look bad. He could be hit hard with something by someone who doesnt like cats. Further checks showed that there's corneal ulcer with large blood clot in thr front chamber of his right eye. concluded that it may be from a cat fight.

He is unable to be released bck on the street with 1 eye injured.. Now he is being hospitalised for 2 weeks. We hope to get help to defray the bills. We are really exhausted from Xiao Mama& Dada. This 2 senior cats will need reviews now n then. 🙏

Please please please help us defray the hospital bills if its within your means

Dada is receiving subcut in boarding. He's taking it like a Champ. Well behaved& no struggles ♡

Mdm Lim visited him On national Day. (Video in comments) Looking all excited and dearly when he saw Mdm Lim.

😻 Update on XiaoMama 2 😻

XiaoMama have been discharged and staying w a fosterer for now. She cannot be released back to the streets anymore for her safety, as vision is blurr with 1 eye left. The ulcer is still there and its deep, which is prone to rupturing.

Regardless of that, she is doing well and taking her meds like a champion. 😻 & for sure She's a happier kitty as compared to days on the streets. We will do our best for every kitty to heal, to receive treatment needed. We will not look away. They all deserve nothing less.

With all the donations received, We still have a shortfall of $560.30 to close the appeal.

[Update on Dada #4]

We have no choice but to send Dada into boarding as we worry that he may go into hiding. We do not want him to pass on while hiding and we are unable to locate him. He have been weaker than usual. Moodless and extremely tired. As we do not have any one who can help foster him and MdmLim is unable to keep him indoors to do subcut for him. (Videos in comments.)

The lady at the medical boarding will help him w his subcut. He still has to go bck for a review in a few weeks. Hopefully his readings get better so we can discharge him from boarding. [ Updated boarding receipt in comment]

His special diet costs a bomb. (refer to receipt) Would you buy him a meal or 2? He will be so grateful!

All we want is for Dada to get better, we will go the extra mile for him ♡
