Dear Customers, we were informed about the news of NWN's recall for Frozen Raw Turkey diet for cats in USA.
* Rein does not import frozen raw diets from NWN. The recall does not affect Singapore and Malaysia.
Currently, there is an outbreak of bird flu in USA and this is an unfortunate case that affected an indoor cat. NWN continues to ensure food safety as its priority to consumers and this is done through gold -standard practice of using High-Pressure Pasteurisation (HPP) in its manufacturing process and Photocatalytic Oxidation within the facilities to kill pathogens. Unfortunately, viruses like bird flu can escape these safety nets and this is bad news for all USA's meat facilities since much of the sourcing comes from local USA supplies.
