Long post ahead ❣️🐟 Following my previous session with a fish on the topic of "Catch & Release" Fishing, I recently came across some newly open kids friendly place that have really fun activities such as farming experience etc, and was considering to bring my child there...
Until the part where I notice a section where it allow kids to catch guppies in an open wet area and have a "splashing good time" to train their motor skills.

"𝙇𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜" is not a new activity, infact it has been quite a common recreational family bonding activity especially for families with young children.
Most of us would have done that in our younger days, too.

However, with the advancement of our lifestyle and awareness, we can choose recreational activities that respect all living beings, moving away from practices like longkang fishing, and still have fun times with our little ones.

My son once asked me why the other children get to play with the fishes (by catching them) and why he couldn't join in..

My reply to him was, in a very layman and kids friendly way: If you are one of the fishes here, and swimming happily with your daddy and mummy.. One day, someone just scooped you (or your parents) up, transferred you somewhere else and made you very giddy, then released/ dumped you when they were done. Would you be happy?

His answer was: No..

Some might think I am depriving my child to have fun/childhood memories, and that "its okay" because they are just tiny guppies that reproduce fast. But I explained to him that there are many other different things we could do to have fun. If you like to play with water, we can go water playgrounds, you can scoop the waterbabies beads or fishy toys.

This post is not to slam any business nor call to boycott them, but a gentle reminder for us all, to pause and think about our choices in life, and what we kind of values we want to impart to the next generation..

Also, it would be even better to have businesses stepping forward to make a change by creating experiences that are both genuinely fun and compassionate, ✨️🫶

Throwback to our 3 full days of KL Animal Communication Workshop Level 1 & 2 with W, W, P 🌈🌻

I believe Universe put the right people together at the right time and place. Each of these lady are so gifted in their own ways - their knowledge & readings open up to a lot more insights to the animal kingdom and also, life.

The most memorable part was a Level 2 practice when one of them connected to the Octopus, and it sent her crying. Because the octopus showed how polluted our waters are and the sufferings of sea creatures beneath. 🐙

My brief but intense exchange with a willow tree 🍃
I took these photos earlier on when I reached the park.

After spending some time there, I passed by this tree on the way back.. At this very moment, the wind blew, and I felt the tree saying goodbye to me.

I stopped, and stood beside it. A gush of unexplainable emotions just surged through me. I think the best way to describe is unconditional love of Being. Being together and connected to each other. I thank the tree for being there and holding space while I process the wave of emotions I felt.

I then stretched out my hand to touch its bark, and I could sense the happiness from the tree (with pink colour visions).
The 🌳 then said: Thank you, because not many people stop by to notice and spend time with us.
Me: I think some people do (nature lovers?)
🌳: At least not the people that come here~
Me: I need to go soon.. It's a little late, though I would love to stay here a little longer..
🌳: Take all the time you need..
I then felt drawn to send reiki to the tree's roots.. as I started, one of the leaves fell and landed on me. 🍃 I told the tree i would find time and come back to visit it again, hopefully not too late..

🐔 I was thrilled to get a chance to speak to my first ever Chicken client 🌈 Even though initially I was a little taken aback when I received her picture (I was expecting a dog or cat by the name of Latte).

When I connected to Latte over the Rainbow Bridge, she greeted me with puffed up feathers. She then showed me images of how she used to flap her wings and fly up to her human's sofa/bed and walk around. I was amazed to find out she's really a "free-range chicken" at home!

I asked if she enjoyed being carried, she replied:
"Not really, but it was good (she knows it's a good way of bonding for humans). Just dont swing."

She wants her humans to know she has lots of friends there and she's not a "lonely chicken", and to rest assured that she didn't get bullied. Latte calls herself a special bird 🤣

All pets, big or small, furry or feathered, are equally precious to the humans who loved them dearly. They are capable of bringing so much joy, building memories, and leaving us with a piece of broken heart when they go. ❤️🌈

Kikkoman and Kickapoo have the cutest names. Despite staying in the same household as "fur-siblings", the both of them have very different personalities.

Kikkoman is more manja, and enjoys pats on his head, loves to play.
When we ask Kikkoman how does he feels about Kickapoo,
Him: Fat! (With an image of Kickapoo side staring at him lol)

Kickapoo, on the other hand, loves her own space and prefers to observe humans from a distance.
When asked how to make her happier..
Kickapoo: Don't say I fat, Im just fluffy!
And she says Kikkoman takes up a lot of space + keeps leaving his scent around. 🤣

Kickapoo: Cats need a lot of sleep, like 10 to 15 hours a day, so when Im sleeping don't wake me. 💤

This 2 really quite funny to see the way they describe one another.

21 Dec is a special date.

21 is my favourite number.
It is the day that Tui left us 4 years ago.
(He probably chose the date for me to rmb? And it's also winter solstice)
So I made this day the official anniversary date for Pets Actually Can Talk 🌈

Today, I had the honour to do a reading for a client with her ex-breeding dog Bubi. Bubi came to her in 2015 with a lot of health issues and terrible body conditions. It took her years and lots of money to nurse + rehab this tiny girl back to health..

As time passed. Bubi is also getting older.. And she knows her mummy is sad watching her and her sister growing older day by day..

During our conversation, she told me:
"Mummy doesn't know this, but I appreciate her alot.
I experience warmth after coming to her,
and it's because of her that I can sleep well."

When her mummy asks how can she help Bubi to ease her pain?
Bubi says: Nothing.
She explains that getting old is part of life, a process that we all have to go through, and we can't intervene nor stop the body pain that comes with it. (Sometimes, we just got to accept and live with it).

Oh, such wisdom 🥹🥹🥹.
It is really heartening and humbled to see the love they both have for one another, as well as the dedication her owners have to keep them happy, healthy, and safe as much as she can..

Wishing Bubi & family all the best in life, stay positive and happy!

Here’s a little info about us! My name is May and I talk to animals. I have been doing Animal Communications since 2016 during my free time, and my clients are usually through word of mouth recommendations. Through the years, I’ve spoken to hundreds of animals ranging from the usual dogs / cats / birds to more uncommon ones such as goat/ spiders / horses / tortoise and even reptiles. PACT (Pets Actually Can Talk) was set up with the main purpose of serving as a bridge/ messenger between pet owners and their pets who are critically ill or at the last stage of their lives, in hope to give both parties a closure, to fulfil the last wishes of the pets (if any), as well as providing maximum comfort for the animal to transit across peacefully. Looking for casual chats and checks for your pets? Yes, we do that too! Get to understand what they feel, think or wants or if they have any special messages for you. We also offer communication with your pet(s) which have crossed over the rainbow bridge, however please give a transition time frame of about 21 days after the passing of the animal before engaging for a communication service. The session will be done via distant communication, which means I do not need to be physically there to talk to your pet. All we need is a recent picture of your pet preferably with eyes looking at the camera (kindly refrain from sending pictures with more than 1 pet/ humans in it). I will connect with your pets once I am available (3-5 working days) and will revert to you with the readings via Whatsapp / phone call.
