It has been an amazing journey for Soonsu, whom was renamed as Muna, and finally adopted into a loving family with a huge heart. Her Mummy Vivie, Daddy Derrick, brother Yoshi and sister Daisy and hooman Brother!
She has been amazingly happy and comfortable, all meant to be well loved and accepted by everyone in the family who pampers her super well!

The next super amazing news of hers will be she is able to walk on her own already!!! All efforts and love to give her a second chance is paying off, paying off with her past she has sacrificed and suffering with pain n immobility.
We are super thankful for all prayers being answered for her to recover making the impossible possible, and most importantly her current family has accepted her despite her difficulties in mobility, having to still commit to her rehabilitation sessions for rest of her life, supplements for immunity and extra home care for rest of her life daily, her being non littered trained and might need to be on diapers for we don't know how long, and good diet for her gut health. Heaven must have answered our prayers, her prayers, she is making much more improvements with her mobility being in her own family surrounded by warmth, love n trust.

The day I decided to take over her Foster care from her past despite her not being able to walk, or barely move. With fracture on her neck region n compressed spine... Helpless, in pain, fragile and scared.
She broke out in diarrhea multiple times with mild auto immune, we struggled and argue over eating supps, diet and intake of water, we tried diff lotions, ear drops, diff kinds of treats to motivate her for her physiotherapy and most important showered lots of love n hope for her to want to walk again.

We did it all, she is doing her very best as always, each time better then each because we never stop believing. We gave her time for her to encounter beautiful humans, touches, care n love... One day, she decided to walk on the treadmill, then half stood on anti slip mat/bed, then she started doing army crawling, then she stood up more on her own longer, last week she started stumbling a lot with all her might on antislip mat to move around. We stay with her, everynight was all the massages and talking to her about her future happiness we could see ahead. Today she stood up super nicely on our bed without shaking. Sorry for the lengthy post, but yes because we never stop believing!!!
To the humans involved in her past history and cause of her injury which I can't disclose, thank you for letting her go so she could have a second chance, a second wonderful chance to live brightly again. N yes, karma will come to you. I never believe in PTS when the look in the eyes doesn't tell you so, let me tell you, and other people who thinks she needs or better to be euthanized, my Baby Noah can never ever walk again n has brain issue since birth n did 6 brain surgeries from age of 2 months to 1 yr old. Never a day we as Foster parents will even think of euthanizing him. Same for little Muna (renamed), NEVER STOP BELIEVING.

Soonsu has wean off pain medications and has been much better/stable. She has also show signs of strength to stand n semi hop around!!! But her fracture on cervical region is believed to take abit longer time for recovery to regain more strength.

JiaYou SoonSu!!! Foster mummy will rename her as she requested to be renamed :) hang in there for updates! Her funds are only left with $20, as we understand this is a really hard time for anyone to donate, if no donations are coming in then Foster mummy will spilt the $600 from our Gov for SoonSu and Noah.

Very proud of SoonSu this entire week! She has shown significantly improvements with her conditon just alone on this week's increased intensity Physiotherapy!

Monday - TENS on cervical region, NMES on hamstrings, Laser therapy and static weight bearing exercises.

Tuesday - Myo fascia + trigger point release, Laser therapy, Manual Massage + Full grooming

Wednesday - HydroSwim + Laser therapy

Thursday - Manual Prom + Massage + Tuina, reflexes stimulation (Home exercises)

Friday - Weight bearing exercises + Propriceptive Static stimulation + laser therapy

Saturday - Manual Prom + Massage + Tuina, reflexes stimulation (Home exercises)

She has been receptive towards all we had done over the entire week and was attempting to semi walk all over my King size bed every night. Her response to moving around on wheelchair has improved as well.

Initially when we started daily fluid therapy 120ml(injection under the skin) + vitamin B complex 1 ml under the skin once a day, she was resisting and being afraid of needles. But after few days she is receptive to me doing it at night to hydrate her body system and doesn't struggle anymore to needles.

She is also accepting all the fuss over her number of oral supplements + collagen eye drops + silvergoene spray for her oral health.

Her appetitie has been stable n getting better this week! N has put on some weight n stronger now up in being carried overall. We are reviewing on coming Tuesday with Dr Jean Paul Ly n see if we can stop pain meds and swap with long term Serrazyme to help to bring down inflammation while we work her out intensively as well as it is a much healthier way. I m super proud of her being able to co-exist with all my furry kids in the household with such a huge heart!

I will be making few purchases for her Cradle to sleep in on my bed, so she can sleep safely on my bed as she tries her walking around stunt in the middle of the night, Wetwipes, aloe Vera concentrate liquid for her joints n bladder care, vit D3, serrazyme, activated charcoal (In case any Diarrhea). Will also update off new donations, expenses, received donations by next week.

Part 2 - 1St Hydropool session where my reflexes are stimulated after manual paddling! Look at my kicks!!! Foster mama says I m super impression being 1St time in the pool.

This whole week we are starting more intensive physiotherapy with more physical exercises involved.
Tomorrow (Friday) I m going on the treadmill with my wheels!

Long day for SoonSu on Monday after weekends rest!
She started her increased intensity of physiotherapy with TENS on her para cervical n thoracolumbar spinal region, and NMES on bilateral Quads/hamstrings region with Cold Laser therapy entire. Myo Fascia release also performed on her trigger points, followed by her wheelchair walk/standing session.
She also had her full grooming today so we could keep her clean n tidy n white to start afresh for her new life!
KO after dinner at home and totally relax + comfortable. She totally enjoyed her physio sessions and grooming! Lucky Princess :)

As per Dr Jean Paul Ly after reviewing her X-rays and presenting condition, she is suspect to have some fracture on cervical region mainly C2-C3, and narrowing close to collapsed at T9-T10, T10-T11, T11-T12.
She is currently still in unstable condition due to her injury n likely traumatic injury like a dog attack or physical attack. Her writing reflexes are depress in the front, but deep pain are all present. At this moment we will have to try everything we can intensively as this is the golden period before everything becomes stagnant. Her pain level is currently manageable but still on pain medications and muscle relaxers orally.
We also started her on daily laser therapy, manual massge and release of her joints n muscles n stretches, as well as supported Weight bearing exercises lightly to stimulate her reflexes and sensory nerves.
Her chances of walking is 50% perhaps, but we are hoping for a miracle in her. It is unfair to just give up and give her a "death sentence of immobile" without even trying. Dr Ly also highly recommended intensive Vitamin C n B injectables this period to boost recovery urgently this period.
SoonSu current funds are also running low and only left with $172.20!!! Probably enough for 2-3 sessions of accupunture only. Pls help if you are able to as she will definitely need her treatments concurrently with her physiotherapy, supplements and injectables!

SoonSu: I had busy day at work past 2 days! Met many new doggo n kitty friends both at work n Foster mama hse. And everyone is pampering me with different choice of foods and treats.

Little SoonSu the 1.5yr old rescued toy poodle suffered some injuries to her cervical and likely thoracolumbar spine leading to losing her mobility completely since 1.5 weeks ago.
She has an extremely strong will to live despite being in a lot of pain and was on iv drip for pain medications for nearly a week to keep her slightly calm and sedated for strict rest entirely. She was still eager to eat and drink, n constantly showing signs of improvements.
Since Wednesday, we started her on Accupunture as we wean off her CRI pain relief and swapped to orals. She has been also relinquished and discharged to head back to one of the rescuer's home since then.

She will be taken care/fostered by mainly 2 of her rescuers/Foster mamas with more then a decade of medical knowledge and experiences to care for her condition. She will be also be starting her Animal Physiotherapy 3x a week with one of her Foster mama Karen Quek, founder of Gaia Wholistic Animal Wellness and and 3x a week Accupunture with Hillside veterinary Dr Sung, whom her another Foster mama works as a superb veterinary nurse with them. She will also be seeing Dr Jean Paul Ly at Animal Wellness Centre for holistic approach.

At this point in time we will urgently need to appeal for funds for her medical expenses, necessities, supplements, daily expenses, Balto neck Brace, wheelchair from HappyWheels and proper beddings. We hope all these would come together to aid her in regaining her mobility and soon ready to be just a normal puppy who deserves a home of her own.
