We will be bringing Manager BOSco to VC for his dental review today and if Dr clears him, we will proceed with his sterilization.

PR Sasha will also be going for a pre-sterilization consultation today. If all is good, Dr will proceed with the procedure.

We would like to thank Bosco and Sasha for raising their own medical funds to subsidize this.

Power Shut Down today so they got relocated to somewhere and enjoy excursion with their parents' consent.

And I am here, feeling so empty without the babies..... to clear up with no fan / Aircon.

"In rabbits, deficiencies in Vitamin D have been identified as a large risk factor in the development of dental diseases and bone infections. As is the case with other mammals, Vitamin D is a critical component of calcium metabolism, skeletal and cardiovascular health.

UVB light is an important precursor in the synthesis of Vitamin D. Studies have shown that rabbits exposed for as little as 6 hours a day to artificial UVB light benefited from an increase in Vitamin D.

The string included in this package can be used as a rough guideline to measure the distance between the UVB light bulb and your bunny. The distance should not exceed the length of the string. The lightbulb should be tested and replaced every 6-12 months."

It wasn't an easy March. Thank you, bun-rents, for your kind understanding that we have to re-schedule some grooming appointments in March as we met with a 3-vehicle collision on PIE when we were on our way to pick up 2 bunnies on 1 March. Although we were able to stop in time, the lorry rear ended and our car moved a distance and our car hit the one in front.

We both suffered from neck injuries and Jes' dislocated shoulder was injured again. Thankfully, the buns were not on board yet. Jes had to get hospitalised for a night. Our Landon got an EC attack on the night when Jes was hospitalised, and we lost our CEO Herbie on 6 March. It was devastating and stressful for us, especially Jes, as she couldn't rest well for her love and commitment to the Enchante babies.

We have been told that this will take months to heal and have been prescribed muscle relaxant and stronger painkillers, but we do not dare to take them in case we miss any alarm, even at 2am, 4am when we need to check on the Enchanté guests on medical care (though she is not asked to do so). She doesn't want to re-schedule any grooming appointment to see her baobeis. Currently, Panadol, tennis ball and medicine plasters are our bestie.

Thank you for your kind understanding if grooming is taking slightly longer and we might need to shift the timing a bit later.

We got an emergency text from someone who requested Jes yiyi to drop by SPCA to groom a 'lost' rabbit. (We all know there is no really 'lost' rabbit).

Anyway, we did some urgent rescheduling to drop by from the East to Sungei Tengah Rd. They want the rabbit to look good, so he can find a forever home soon.

We communicated with the bunny and asked him to have positive thoughts that he would recover from what he is going through now and find a good home, and he would never be 'lost' again.

If you would like to give him a home, do contact SPCA!

We want to give a discount to the kind person who asked us to groom the rabbit. However, she wants to pay the full price. May you be blessed for your kind heart!

Our resident bunny (Bosco) has been providing emotional support and companionship to a neighbor who is coping with the loss of a partner who recently passed away.

He is munching on more hay and is no longer hiding in his tunnel now.
