Skippy 9 year old Female Corgi, is in the emergency vet and needs a blood transfusion.
Blood Donor Requirements:
The following is the requirements as a blood donor:
- weighs more than 22kg
- 1 to 8 years old (depending on breed)
- Good temperament
- No existing health issues
- Fully vaccinated (DHPPi and Lepto)
- Up to date with flea and tick prevention
- Not on any current medications
- Never received a transfusion
- Blood Type: DEA+ve
