Bring crepuscular means that Guinea pigs are most active during dusk and dawn, being awake for almost 20 hours a day! 🥱
So if you own a guinea pig, ensure that they have constant access to food, water, safe hiding places and even toys to keep them busy throughout the day. 🧸
They are also known to be very social animals, so having a companion guinea pig as a housemate would be significantly help to keep them occupied! 🐹🐹

Rabbits in the wild never bathe! 🐰
Bathing your rabbit could reduce their body temp dramatically and causes undue stress. Unless your vet instructs you to bathe the bottom of the bunny for medical reasons, there is no need to do so. Unscented baby wipes will work if your bunny needs a quick clean 🧽

Being stuck at home doesn't necessarily mean being stuck in place! Use this quality time to help make some healthy lifestyle changes for your pet 💪🏽

🔸Limit treats - Ensure that you are providing your pet with a balanced and nutrient-rich diet. Treats should not account for more than 10% of their daily calorie intake

🔸Fun & Games - Add exercise to meal times by hiding dry food around the house, like a hunt! Games aren't just great for meals, they also add fun and excitement to any hour of the day for both owner and pet 🧩

🔸Slow down meals 🐢 - Weight gain is a potential side effect of consuming food too much or too quickly. For pets that love to wolf down their food, consider purchasing a slow-feeding bowl which comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. These bowls encourage pets to eat more slowly while also stimulating their senses. They also help your furkid to avoid gastrointestinal symptoms like bloating, vomiting and diarrhea
