I have spoken to Socks. She is a very fearful, misunderstood sweetheart who doesn't trust humans. When asked if she wanted to convey any message to her carers (us), she requested if her name can be changed. She doesnβt like to be named Socks. I am hearing Alice. It could be she wanted to be called Alice or there is an Alice significant in her life. She tells me she doesnβt want to be released back to the streets; she desires a home. She prefers to be the only cat and would not enjoy the company of other cats and dogs. She prefers a calm and quiet household. A small household will be perfect. Her current behavior at the shelter does not reflect who she really is. She is not adapting well to being in a shelter with many cats and a busy environment. She is actually a very loyal and affectionate girl. The potential adopter that matches her character will see her true self after 2 weeks or so. Once you gain her trust, in a conducive environment, she will appear to be a totally different cat. She has a lot of pent-up energy and lots of fearβfear of being sent back to the streets. The above are feelings channeled when I tapped into how she is feeling right now.Her trauma is from this life and other lives. A big family had her since she was a kitten. The familyβs friend had a litter, and she was one of the kittens given away to friends. They are all not neutered. Her dislike for rough and noisy children led her to scratch the kids, and thatβs how they dumped her. She was left confused and terrified. Her trust in humans has been deflated, but time and patience will rekindle her faith in humans again. This story is repeated in another life where she was a human child in a war-torn country. Her entire family was killed, and she was left to fend for herself. For us at TNRP, Alice was supposed to be a TNR and released back, but we decided to give it a try to find a home for her. No inquiries so far. She was also affectionate at times, feisty when she wanted to be. We have

Are you wondering why you keep seeing black kittens caught in mouse trap ?
Goodman Road -Case (finally)close after 2 months.π₯π₯π₯π₯
This is number 4 of the litter, the elusive one. (All trapped by the house owner and handed to us)
Since 2 months ago, after we TNR the mama cat and rehomed the 3 siblings, she just is nowhere to be found.
But once again, like the others she went into the mouse trap
We have sent her to the vet but feel she is borderline case if she can be spay.
She is frighten and crying, ready to sprint out of carrier.
We can't decide if she is to be TNR OR rehabilitate foe new home π
Because we are also running extremely full house
Any fosterers if keen, please contact us.

We named the mama HANA and her brother/ father of the babies KYO
They were both given away to some auntie in rental block , who didn't sterilise them at due age resulting in incest- breeding and death of 2 the babies.( this baby has since died this morning)
She is is weak and they both look so sad. They don't understand what's going on, and they are both only 8 months old.
We seen this scenario repeating from 1st owner to 2nd owner. Both are irresponsible.
Giving away free kittens might solve your immediate problem, but it just passes the responsibility to someone else.
When many contact us for spay and neuter help is:"We took this kitten from someone else, but we can't afford to get her spay/ neuter
If you truly care about cats and kittens, please do not give away free kittens to just anyone.
Make sure the mom cat is spayed as soon as possible. β
You can rehome kittens responsibly through an adoption process, and I encourage you to seek advice and do it right.
We need to see the bigger picture and work together to ensure that all mom cats and kittens are spayed or neutered before they go to new home or when they are of age.
It is EVERYONE's responsibility to ensure spay/neuter happens.

Same scenario but different lens. ππ

Synergy@KB ( adopted)
Saturday night boggie boogie days are over. This is what we do now:/
An original poster asked for help for a mama cat and her two kittens. Unfortunately, he was told not to feed them, so the mama cat hasn't been seen for a few days, leaving him very worried about the kittens.
We had a long long day sending cats to new homes but at 9pm we decided to swing by to check it out.
Some meowing and the little ones came running out from under a van, clearly nervous and very hungry.
It was heartbreaking to see them darting around among the auto and motorbike repair shops.
They do not belong here !ππ
Always prepared, we have 2 carriers so we decided to give it a try.
So here we have 2 months old blackies x 2
Seriously we are cracking our brains for names without repeating any from our last 8 years of work.. haha
Suggestions welcome !
Happy weekend !
Pair adoption allows the kittens to play with each other and grow up healthier. You will enjoy watching the kittens play! Just prepare your soda and popcorn! Satisfaction guaranteed!
Rescue work is really emotionally, mentally and financially draining.
But how can we say no even if the fighting chance is 30%?
Can you believe it?!
We are still ongoing with Labrador Towers construction site due to large number of cats.
We have completed 2 zones and will be headed deeper inside the site next week.
This time round, the black colony.
Sadly we missed their trapping in the 1st round and a mummy has since popped 3 kittens.
We have also taken in a 4 month old kitten as it was crying a lot and we really felt bad for it.
We got cat trapper Damy to help as we do not have enough traps and carriers.. haha
We hope to raise funds to get another 2 more traps and it will cost us about $550 π
Please continue to support us as we need more resources to make our work possible. Paynow to 9387 7877 (TNR) ππΌ
If anyone would like to foster we would also love to hear from you.
Ps- thanks to Serene for helping us stiched the videoβοΈ

Mr Mittens and his new found fan!
We lost Viva today to illness which came suddenly and took her swiftly in just 4 days.
We are devastated and heartbroken but we only want to remember the best of her. What matters was the 2.5 years she had with us.
Viva led a life by the boardwalk of Vivo City, she called her home. She was a mother again and again in the streets and when she came to us was heavily pregnant.
After her kittens were adopted, the plan to release her back was thwarted by rain each time we made the plan.
In the end, she stayed on @Sgpetshop, an "untouchable" with a timid grace.
Her unlikely friendship with Cora , another office cat , is a joy to watch. She loves Cora; following her every step , always meowing for her, giving headbutts ..
Our only regret, she never had experience human touch, pets and cuddles. She is timid and we never had a chance except a stroke of her backside while she run away from us.
Her final night at the vet, she was totally paralysed and unable to move. That was the only time i was able to caress her freely and hope she understands and knows that is love.
We brought Cora there and she was happy & starts humming in the throat as she can't meow
We wrote her a little note which will reach her in heaven.
That in the stars, she'll feel no fear. May she find the "sayangs" she's missed,
In the arms of angels, may she be kissed.
Remembering Viva, not with pain, But with joy for the love she gained.
Thank Care Vet for being with her till her last breath.
For her bills, we will not be raising funds to cover because she is family and will be taken care by Sgpetshop.
Viva you are loved & always our rolly polly.
Missed by many in office. π

Our cats are lucky to get yummiest home- cooked food by Louisiana.
This time round it is steamed batang fish!
See how happy they are, chomping it down as if we have not feed them for days.
Which gives us an idea that maybe.... we should do this once a month like a treat day for them.
For receipe, please see comments as we wait for Lou to post it.

All 4 kittens has been adopted in pairs.
6 weeks old kittens up for adoption.
They come from a never ending area, Tuas which is dangerous as hell for cats & kittens.
They arrived to us in a box yesterday but see how fast they have settled in.
All eating and pooping well.
Preferable in pairs so that they can wrestle their way to adulthood together.
Please PM us to find out more.
Windows meshing is a must.

Able to provide for the kittens and be by their side for their lifetime.
A pet is forever.
Adopted to Ida and family. The most amazing family to take him in and give him a new life after Mama Nadia. π
Renamed Dudley.
Update: manja will get his blood works, Fiv and felv test and vaccination on 5th June
We have already deflead him as well pending adoption.
Adoption post.
Manja cried, we swallowed a lump in our throat and unable to keep the tears from welling up.
He lost his mummy. He lost all his other siblings.
Now he lost the only home he has known. π
About a year ago we paid tribute to Nadia, a friend, an adoptor and a fosterer, who passed away from illness.
She left behind 7 cats , a daughter and a husband/ partner.
We supported with food and litter whenever we can.
Yet a few days ago, we understood he has remarried, another child on the way and all the cats are given away except one, Manja, as nobody wanted him.
He can't take him as new wife is allergic.
Feeling very heartbroken for him, we took him in.
Manja was her favourite baby.
We also wish that the other cats are well.
At the same time, it makes us ponder about many things.
Love. Marriage. Memories.
It all just seems so frivolous, so disposable.
Anyone keen to adopt this big boy, please PM us to view him.
He is about 7 years old
Sterilised . We will do all the necessary tests before going new home.
