Capeless Heroes!

[SCDF rescues 14 cats from fire]

On 21 April 2022 at about 8.30am, SCDF was alerted to a fire at Block 422 Fajar Road.

The fire involved the contents of a service yard in a unit on the second floor of the block.

Firefighters from Bukit Batok Fire Station conducted forcible entry into the unit and extinguished the fire using three compressed air foam backpacks.

SCDF rescued 14 cats that were found unconscious within the unit. The firefighters, some of them cross-trained as emergency medical technicians, provided oxygen and conducted CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on the cats. 13 of the cats eventually regained consciousness, while one had passed away.

About 20 people were evacuated from neighbouring units as a precautionary measure.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Hi all, to those that have been affected by the Oxbow Pure Comfort white 72L misprinted as 56L, here is the official statement coming from Oxbow directly.

We are aware that there are some people spreading falsehood with regards to this matter. We hope that this statement can help to clarify any queries to the people that may have been possibly misled.

Last but not least, there's a reason why Oxbow named their product in terms of VOLUME and not in WEIGHT.
