AVA VON SALLOCH...flying solo...
...as I am not willing to only record and show the finnest attempts... today AVA VON SALLOCH (Ch.FRIDA IZ MESTNEGA LOGA x ILEX VON DER KINDSBURG) made her first "autonomus" rabbit track that (laid across the deer exit points), starting from a slip line. As you can see, the slip line made quite a difference as she was, until now, only used to the long line and to the big guy behind it. To me the important thing here is, that I can see clearly that she understands what needs to be done, corrects herself and has a superb nose that allows her to do it. Ah...It feels so nice to see them grow...

The thing I love about grown up dogs is not the fact that they do everything flawlessly everytime, they don't...but how amazingly they correct themselves when they screw it up! We can learn so much from them!

AGNES VON SALLOCH aka "ALMA" (FRIDA IZ MESTNEGA LOGA x ILEX VON DER KINDSBURG) - this girl just needs to shine, land or water, with only 6,5 months.
...and of course ‘the Queen mother’ CH.FRIDA IZ MESTNEGA LOGA also demanded her piece of the pudding...just to show that she still can do better... So 600 steps track, 5kg fox dummy, almost 26’C...just for H.I.M.
With 6,5 months our AVA VON SALLOCH (FRIDA IZ MESTNEGA LOGA x ILEX VON DER KINDSBURG) got her first shot at a very special test- Nutria ‘schleppe’ which was also her first contact with nutrias. She took the scent by herself and followed really independently than got a little glitch on the corner. But in the moment when I thought she lost it, she got back and brought the nutria dummy of 3kg in first contact, with a smile on her face. This is the core of our essence at Weimaraners Von Salloch- we respect and nurture ingenuity and the skill to adapt in our pupps not only ‘military drills’!

We expected it to be more difficult so we prepared a shallow stream and loads of utensils but she did it like a pro and retrieved a simple Dummy. Dogs allways impress!
Swimming style will require some more practice though 😂
