Holly smoke, how much frustrated we can get sometimes, when we are teaching our dog new behaviours or solving an unwanted behaviour. Right❓
👉 You are not alone, we have all been there at least once. And it is just a part of the process. Mainly because now-days we are used of getting things immediately. And that’s just not how it goes in dog training.
✍️ Write in the comments, what are you struggling with, with your dog at this very moment.

Such a walk through the Italian city of La Spezia was completely unimaginable for Chilly 🐶 not so long ago. To walk with a reactive dog in such an environment - "Impossible" 💯
Well, but it's possible. With the right approach and some work put in. And you can make that change with your dog too.
What do you say would like something like that in the 2022? Write in the comment ✍️
If your dog 🐶 is under stress in different situations, like for example when meeting other dogs, that stress causes higher arousal and that arousal then causes bad behaviours in those situations.
💯 If you want to change bad behaviours, like barking, growling, lunging and pulling toward other dogs, you have to first deal with the stress.
🔥 You can do that with many techniques, the simples one is sniffing. Only by doing that you can solve the problem by its roots.

Oh my god there is really 1000 and 1 thing, that you can do with your dog 🐶 on a snow. This weekend we did some sledding, baloon chasing, digging (which is btw one of the best activities for strengthening muscles of dogs front end) and dog play.
What is the favourite activity that you and your dog 🐶 like to do when you have snow 🥳?

STOP your dog 🐶 from PULLING THE LEASH 🔥. Well...this is not 100% correct. Let's say it like that: TEACH your dog how to WALK ON A LOOSE LEASH 💯. Feels about right❓
👉 Here is the 1st step on teaching that behaviour.
Make sure, that you start teaching that in the environment without distractions. Otherwise you will have BIG problems. And of course, your dog won't be able to learn anything.
Get to work 💪, and report back on how it went 🔥
ps. Oh and help your friends by sharing this video 👍
Do your Dog Walks 🐶 look like that: Dog pulls you, you pull the dog, dog pulls you, you pull the dog... 😨 And that goes for the whole walk? You are not alone. Really not 💯
🔥 Pulling the leash is one of the most common problems, dog owners face. But of course as any behaviour it is possible to teach it so that dog really understands what it supposed to do.
🔥 In order to do so, you have to understand few important principles, few techniques and you SERIOUSLY have to avoid some COMMON MISTAKES. It will help you and your dog.
✅ Here is just a short video, which goes trough common mistake that owners are doing, where they are thinking that by STOPPING THE DOG FROM PULLING actually teaches them how to WALK ON A LEASH.
🐶 If you would like to see the FULL VIDEO FOR FREE, just type "FULL" in the comments 👍 and we will send you YouTube link.
ps. If you share, POSITIVE KARMA will take care of the pulling...well or maybe not 🤣
Simple, Simpler, SNIFFGROUNDS 🔥🐶 (SHARE)
If you are really crunched with resources and time, but you have a lot of imagination, sniff grounds are a way to go 💯.
✅ With this game, you can present a different scenario to your dog every day and in the process release its drives and desire to sniff around.
You know, dogs nose is dogs SUPERPOWER 👍
🔥 Share with friends 🔥
Our dogs LOOOVE to sniff. But aren't they all? Sniffing is one of the best activities you can do for/with your dog.
👉 It lowers heart rate
👉 It releases part of the hunting drive complex
👉 It releases stress
👉 It lowers cortisol
One of the simplest ways to utilize dogs nose, is a SNIFF MAT. Why?
✅ It is fast to execute
✅ Simple to make
✅ Suitable for everyday use
✅ Every dog can do it
✅ It does the job brilliantly
Watch the video then buy or make one for your dog. Your dog will be GRATEFUL.
Your 🐶 dog WILL come 💯. If you will make sure to TEACH your dog the RIGHT behaviour in the situations, places and scenarios where you will actually need that.
✍️ Write in the comments: Do you have problem with the recall? Or does your dog ALWAYS come 🤔.
🔥 People often do the mistake of training with their dog at home or just at the special dog training ground but they often forget, that THEY DON’T LIVE THERE. So in order to really teach our dog how to respond in different situations, we have to actually get our “hands dirty” and go and train in those kind of situations.
Of course, we have to pay attention, that we choose suitable environment. Otherwise, we can do more harm than good, because if the environment will be too STRESSFUL for our dog, it won’t be able to LEARN.
✅ So make sure, that you go out and train, train and teach the behaviour that you will need and do it in the environment that is suitable for your dog and close to something, that you will need in the future.
👉 It’s simple, when you know how.
ps. Please share, it means a world to us ❤️
I LOOOOVE training obedience with my dogs 🐶. Although I don't mix all the principles of training it in the behaviour therapy, some of them are quite similar. Of course you don't force high drive and focus in those situations, but principles such as "rise the criteria according to your dogs success rate" and some others apply.
🔥 I also know, that many dog owners struggle in obedience exam scenarios. And as search and rescue handler, which participated on 3 world championships I figured out some things, which could put you on the another level.
One of my secrets was, that I've trained it in all kinds of environments, so that my dogs got used to basically anything that could come their way during the exam or the competition.
And because CoolDog classes take place in those kind of environments, I know how much it is important that you train in the environment that you will need the behaviour.
Sure, some cases demand different approach, but the majority of dog owners fit in just fine. As a dog training you have to make sure, that you read the dog well and change the approach/environment accordingly.
👉 It's about the flexibility, knowledge, consistency and patience.
You can do it! 🥰 ( and you can also share this content 😉 )
