❤🍀🐾Evropska specialistka dr. Ana Rejec Jenček, dr. vet. med., Dipl. EVDC, poleg kliničnega dela predano izobražuje in širi strokovno znanje. Na stomatološki delavnici v organizaciji Veterine Tačka (Tačka Akademija) in sponzorjev (Salus in Drasen Lab), 1 in 2. marca 2025, so bila v le dveh dneh zapolnjena vsa razpoložljiva mesta, kar potrjuje veliko zanimanje in potrebo po dodatnem strokovnem izpopolnjevanju. Udeleženci so se poglobljeno seznanili s ključnimi stomatološkimi pristopi in tehnikami, izmenjali dragocene izkušnje ter pridobili nova znanja, ki jih bodo lahko uspešno uporabili v svoji klinični praksi.💡

Meet Del, a brave 12-year-old Golden Retriever who was diagnosed with advanced oral malignant melanoma, one of the most aggressive and common oral tumors in dogs. Since surgery was not an option, radiotherapy was planned as an alternative treatment. Del completed his treatment in December 2024, and today, during a follow-up, we are so happy to see that the therapy was successful, providing him with a great quality of life! 🍀🐾

This week our team successfully performed three adrenalectomies with caval vein involvement, demonstrating expertise, precision, and strong collaboration.🐾🍀This was also a special milestone Dr. Stefano Nicoli, as we proudly celebrate his 300th adrenalectomy, a testament to his dedication to adrenal surgery.👏

Attending an oncology congress in Netherlands this weekend. It was a pleasure to meet our colleagues and listen to the world best oncologists, dr. Craig Clifford, Dipl ACVIM and dr. Julius Liptak, Dipl ACVS. 🐾🍀❤️ We received a lot of confirmations that we are taking care of our cancer patients in the best possible way, compassionately and professionally. 🍀🐾❤️

❤️ Boo’s story is a powerful reminder of the resilience of animals and how, with the right care and expertise, they can overcome even the toughest challenges.❤️

Three years ago, Boo faced a life-threatening diagnosis – an oral tumor (squamous cell carcinoma). The only way to give her a chance at a pain-free life was a radical surgery to remove her right lower jaw and part of her left jaw. Yes, it was not an easy decision for us nor her owners, as it was a major procedure, and we couldn’t predict how well she would adapt.

Today, Boo is 14 years old! She shows no signs of disease recurrence and has adjusted beautifully to her new condition. Her life may look a little different now, but she’s still the same Boo - content, playful, and full of love.❤️

This outcome wouldn’t have been possible without the exceptional knowledge and expertise of our specialist Dr. Ana Rejec, Dipl EVDC, who performed the surgery with precision and care, and the amazing veterinary team who took care for Boo. Most of all, we are grateful to Boo’s owners, who placed their trust in us and remained committed to her care through this challenge.❤️

At just 8 months old, our brave Schizzetta underwent complex surgery to remove an oral tumor (ameloblastic fibroma), including part of her maxilla. Thanks to the exceptional skill of our Specialist Dr. Ana Rejec, Dipl EVDC 💖🙏, the tumor was successfully and completely removed. We’re so proud of our Schizzetta and grateful to the amazing veterinary team that saved her life.🐾💖🙏

We’re excited to announce that from November 6th to November 15th, Animal Hospital Postojna will be upgrading our diagnostic services with the installation of a brand-new Fujifilm Scenaria View 128-slice CT scanner! This state-of-the-art equipment will allow us to provide even more accurate and detailed imaging for your pets. 🐾✨

During this time, CT services will be temporarily unavailable (CTs will be scheduled in Ljubljana and Trieste with our cooperating colleagues) but please rest assured that our MRI services will remain fully operational.

Additionally, our team is dedicated to continuous learning! Dr. Tommaso Pilla will be away during this period on an externship with leading specialists across Europe, further enhancing our expertise to provide your pets with the very best care.
