'ท้องแรก' ของแม่หมามือใหม่ 🐶🍼
ท้องแรกของน้องหมา ไม่ต่างจากมนุษย์เลยนะคะ เต็มไปด้วยความเปลี่ยนแปลง ความไม่แน่นอน และความตื่นเต้นเล็กๆ ที่แอบปนความน่ากังวล
📍 การคลอดถือเป็นช่วงเวลาที่สำคัญ และอ่อนไหวที่สุด เพราะไม่ใช่ทุกตัวจะคลอดเองได้อย่างปลอดภัย
อย่างเคสน้องมะกูด ที่มาพบคุณหมอด้วยอาการเริ่มเจ็บท้องคลอด คุณหมอรีบพาไป X-ray และ Ultrasound เพื่อตรวจดูจำนวนลูกในท้อง พร้อมทั้งฟังเสียงหัวใจลูกน้อย และประเมินสุขภาพของคุณแม่อย่างละเอียด เพื่อประเมินว่าคุณแม่พร้อมสำหรับการคลอดเองหรือไม่ โชคดีที่สุขภาพร่างกายของน้องมะกูดแข็งแรง แม้จะเป็นแม่มือใหม่ คุณหมอจึงให้คลอดเองตามธรรมชาติ พร้อมดูแลทุกขั้นตอนอย่างใกล้ชิด ทั้งให้สารน้ำ ยากระตุ้น คุณหมอและพี่พยาบาลคอยช่วยทำคลอดทุกขั้นตอน
และเหมือนคุณแม่มือใหม่หลายๆ ตัว…
ตอนลูกคลอดออกมา น้องมะกูดยังงงๆ ว่าก้อนพวกนี้คืออะไร มาจากไหน 😅
แต่ไม่นาน ก็เริ่มจดจำ กลับมาดูแลลูกๆ ด้วยตัวเอง คอยเลียกระตุ้นขับถ่าย ให้ลูกน้อยดูดนม และมอบความอบอุ่นให้

“First Pregnancy” for a New Dog Mom 🐶🍼
A dog’s first pregnancy isn’t so different from a human’s it’s filled with changes, uncertainty, and a mix of excitement and anxiety.
📍 Giving birth is one of the most delicate and critical moments in a pet’s reproductive journey.
Not all moms are able to deliver naturally and safely.
Take the case of Makuud, who came to see the vet with signs of labor. Our team immediately performed an X-ray and ultrasound to check how many puppies she was carrying, listened to their heartbeats, and carefully evaluated mom’s health to decide whether natural birth would be safe.
Fortunately, Makuud was in great health, despite being a first-time mom. The vet allowed her to deliver naturally, with close monitoring every step of the way from IV fluids, labor-inducing medications, to hands-on assistance from both the vet and nurses.
Like many first-time moms, Makuud was a little confused at first unsure what those tiny squirming “blobs” were 😅 But soon enough, her instincts kicked in. She started caring for her babies, stimulating them to relieve themselves, letting them nurse, and showering them with warmth and affection.
Planning ahead from pre-pregnancy to post-delivery care plays a key role in keeping both mom and her newborns safe and healthy. If you have a pregnant pet or are planning for one, don’t hesitate to consult a vet. Proper care from the very beginning helps ensure that both mom and babies go home happy and healthy. 💕
