Featured Breed | The Ragdoll

Ragdolls are large, laid-back, semi longhaired cats with captivating blue eyes. The Ragdoll is a pointed breed, which means that the body is lighter in color than the points (the face, legs, tail and ears). The Ragdoll cat is carefully bred to produce large affectionate animals in three patterns, two with white (mitted and bi-color) and one with no white (colorpoint). The ideal Ragdoll is a well balanced cat, with no extreme features.

Ragdoll cats tend to be more interested in humans than some breeds of cats. They are known to run to greet you at the door, follow you from room to room, flop on you, sleep with you, and generally choose to be where you are. Many Ragdolls have been taught to come when called and play fetch. They are gentle cats, and usually play without extending their claws.

From this show he completed his CAC 3 certificates and got…

and WCF’s Adult Ring 7th Place

Though i did not registered my cattery under WCF but i’m glad nonetheless! Prior to this show i was incredibly worried because Orion showed signs of hating to be in the show ring (CFA style) after gained his CFA’s Grand Champion in one show. From experienced this WCF show i now knew that Orion just being antsy with other cat and scared to be in the show cage. By carried him myself and being judged on the table, he’s docile and attached to me, having overall less stress. However, this may be his last show cause he’ll be doing his duty as my foundation sire, now that he knew how to court a girl 🤣

Hopefully as the new CFA’s show season begins i’ll be showing his baby instead 🙌🏻💕

Do you know that cats will not show their belly while sleeping if they feel it not safe? Turn their belly side up means they feel secure and relax in that area. Of course that including your existent in their space 💗

Lumi in her fluffy era before the whiteness disappeared and her blue lynx mitted shown through ☁️.

Mitted colorpoint is where color appears on the face, ears, body, and tail of the cat. Leaves the area around chin to neck to tummy, and all paws white.

Throw back when our little queen still a kitten 💖

Zelda Maskotek*PL aka “Lumi” is one of our queens. She is a blue mitted lynx ragdoll from cattery in Poland.

This photo taken after she arrived at our home for a month. Lumi was fast to adapt with new home and new brother (who is our pet and neutered). She has a sweetest temperament and very social with human. Lumi is indeed a brightest star in our home ✨
