Dogs hiding from the sun.... Not too hot today but they are used to the cool. Thank you to those who contributed towards wages and powerbill. We are still a little short for covering the cost of our fortnightly meat delivery. 700kg of ground chicken is arriving on Thursday. The cost is 4900 baht which is a very sustainable, and healthy option for feeding the dogs once mixed with rice, veges and other suppliments. Good morning everyone. Another overcast day with rain predicted. We have wages, power bill and food to pay for and sadly I haven't found a money tree to plant at the shelter yet. **Update on fence** Sofar we have posts and brickwork done but still need steel to do the top part and the roof for the Sala. It is no longer safe for the puppies to. Stay in their pen on the balcony. This means they have to go into a run under the roof and others need to be shifted outside. We desperately need some steel for framework of the fence and roof of the Sala. Please help us, these puppies are some of the 35 that were dumped outside our front gate. We need to give them a good life. 6pups sterilised today!!.... Two females were going into heat so the rush was on. Today 3 males and 3 females done with countless amounts of puppies not being born. All males are now done leaving about ten females to be done. They got a vaccine booster done as well. Any help to pay the bill (10980 baht) would help a lot. One weeks growth in a run. It's amazing how fast the grass and weeds are growing at the moment. Please someone take a puppy or two. Will have first vaccination, already on tick and flea prevention and dewormed. Their story is they were dumped in front of our gate at about 1 week old without their mother. I have bottle-fed them, weaned, and now on solid food. Fit and healthy, ready to cause mayhem at your place

I have to admit, I'm very happy with Mhee's progress with her recovery from being hit by a car. She is doing Soo well. When she runs, she only uses her two left legs and can be so fast. Her injury on her front right leg has almost fully closed. I'm guessing another week and the bandage can come off along with the cone. If I hadn't gone to help, she would have surely died from infection.
