There’s no such thing as too many cuddles for Peanut Butter!
When caring for traumatized dogs, intensive medical treatment always comes first, but showing love and affection—especially to the little ones—is just as important.

Recently, we bid farewell to Marit, a student veterinary nurse from the Netherlands. Your hard work, the connection you formed with the animals, and the positivity you brought to the team truly inspired us. We’re sure we’ll meet again! .xr

🐾 UPDATE ON HOPE 🐾
Hope’s e-collar is off, and she’s so much happier now! She’s starting to trust us more and is less irritated when we stroke her. While it will take some more time for her to fully socialize with other dogs, we’re getting closer to our goal every day! 🤗

🐾UPDATE ON LUNA🐾
Recently, we had a visit from Luna’s lovely caregiver. Luna managed to escape from the house, which led to the accident. Her mom will be taking her back home soon, but we will continue her treatment in the meantime. Luna still has the wire on her jaw and is on regular medication. 💛

Meet our newest arrival, Peanut Butter 🐶
Mr. Q found her during a feed run, badly injured with a broken leg and pelvis. Her blood isn’t stable enough for surgery yet, but Dr. Cooky is giving her the best care with antibiotics, blood boosters, and painkillers.
Peanut Butter has already stolen our hearts, and we’re committed to giving her the second chance she deserves. Stay tuned for her journey to recovery!

We recently said goodbye to Lizzie, Nicole, and Sabrina. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, dedication, and tireless efforts in giving so many animals a second chance. You’ll always be a part of the Rescue Paws family, and we can’t wait to welcome you back someday!

Our beloved Wanda, who has been with us for almost 10 years, recently underwent surgery. Unfortunately, she developed a tumor, which is common in older dogs. The good news is that Dr. Cooky promptly removed the tumor, and she’s recovering well.
Thank you to everyone who checked in on her. Wanda is doing great now and is happily back home!

Hope is still very scared, so we need to help her relax before changing her bandage. She’s also having a bit of trouble with her e-collar. At first, we had to gain her trust with some treats, and only then did she let us change the bandage. We continue her daily treatment and remain hopeful for her recovery.
Last week, we said goodbye to John, a returning volunteer. Thank you, John, for believing in our cause and for being a part of our journey. We are gonna miss you, especially Wheaty!

Our feed runs are more than just delivering food—they’re about spreading love and care. 💛

This morning, we woke up to yet another heartbreaking story. This sweet old lady, whom we’ve named Hope, was abandoned at a temple after what we believe were years of being used for breeding. She has an unusual fur color, which makes us think she was exploited for her breeding potential. She was left with a severe dog bite wound—a gaping hole in her body. Now that she’s too old to breed, she was simply discarded as if she didn’t matter.
Hope has received immediate care. Her wound has been treated, dead tissue removed, and maggots carefully cleaned. No living being deserves to be treated this way. 💔
We are committed to giving Hope and so many other animals the care they desperately need, but we cannot do this without your help. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a world of difference. Please consider supporting us as we continue to rescue and heal those who need us most.
This morning, as soon as we opened the clinic, Luna was brought to us after being hit by a car—our sixth case like this in just two weeks. The accident left her with devastating injuries: her eye is partially out, her lower jaw is broken, and the force of the impact knocked out her teeth.
Dr. Cooky and our vet team acted immediately, providing emergency treatment and pain relief to stabilize her. However, Luna’s journey to recovery is just beginning. She urgently needs X-rays, a series of tests, medication, and ongoing care to help her heal and regain her strength.
Every donation counts and goes directly toward her treatment and recovery. By contributing, you’re helping cover the critical medical care she needs and giving her a chance at a second life.
If you want to support Luna’s recovery, please comment LUNA, and we will send you the donation link. Together, we can give her the help she desperately needs.

Fish is a 1-year-old boy with a heart full of love and a longing to find his forever family. He’s incredibly sweet and adores people—so much so that he’ll run up to families on the beach just to sit with them. He gets on well with children and loves to play, though he can’t hide his disappointment if they’re too busy to join in.
Fish is a bit of a lone wolf when it comes to other dogs; he prefers to keep to himself and enjoy life on his terms. This actually makes him quite easygoing at the beach, where he loves running and swimming to his heart’s content.
Once he’s burned off his energy, Fish transforms into a cuddly, affectionate companion who would love nothing more than to snuggle up and nap with you.
If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and active best friend, Fish might just be the perfect match! 💛

Rescue P.A.W.S. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of stray animals in Thailand. Our facilities are based in Khao Tao, a small fishing village roughly 3 hours south of Bangkok, Thailand.
From humble beginnings in 2013 as a simple feeding program, the organization officially came into existence in May 2014, when The Global Work & Travel Co., based in Australia, and XploreAsia, based in Thailand, generously made funds available to erect 12 kennels and equip a small clinic with basic equipment.
Rescue P.A.W.S. has since grown exponentially into a fully fledged animal relief organization, targeting the stray animal problem in the Hua Hin region of Thailand through sterilization and education.
Our organization is operated by a small team of full-time staff and a group of volunteers who carry out day-to-day activities. While some volunteers are trained animal care specialists, volunteer vets and vet students, others are inexperienced but passionate animal lovers seeking a unique travel-abroad experience.
Based on temple grounds in the beautiful Thai village of Khao Tao in the Hua Hin district just south of Bangkok, our facilities include 12 kennels, a play area and a clinic to perform surgeries.
From these premises we coordinate and conduct sterilizations, vaccinations, and administer parasite treatment for abandoned and mistreated stray animals. Our team also ventures out to the surrounding villages to perform fieldwork.
In addition to our mission to reduce the stray animal population in Hua Hin through sterilization and education, Rescue P.A.W.S. also facilitates local and international adoptions. All too often, animals are dumped on the temple grounds or are not healthy enough to safely return to their pack. When tragedies like this occur, our staff work hard to treat these animals and help them find loving and permanent homes.
At Rescue P.A.W.S., we are passionate about encouraging and promoting animal care and animal welfare through comprehensive educational campaigns in local communities and schools. Through our award winning volunteer program, Rescue P.A.W.S. fosters local & global civic engagement by actively engaging volunteers from all across the world.
