Previously, Srinin experienced eye pain and inflammation for about a week.
The vet conducted an initial examination and provided pain relief medication, along with eye drops and an eye wash solution.
The vet also taught the mahout how to clean Srinin’s eyes while waiting for treatment at the Elephant Hospital on the 7th, as the vet was scheduled to visit that day.
Yesterday, the mahout reported that Srinin’s eye condition had improved, but she was suffering from severe abdominal pain and a blood infection. 🥹
Today, a vet from the Elephant Hospital came to collect blood samples from the elephants here to help treat Srinin.
However, the cause of her condition is still unknown, and further monitoring is required.❤️
