We found this sweet tailless stray in a heartbreaking condition back in July. He just turned up outside our vets one day. Days went by and nobody helped him. Not the vet clinic, nor the pet shop next door. He had an infected abscess where his tail should be, rotten and broken teeth, a respiratory infection and severe skin issues.

Worst of all he’s incontinent. He can urinate but he can’t control his bladder movements. An x-ray showed that his bladder gets so full that it could burst. This is fatal and if he continued to live on the streets he would die a painful death one day💔

He had an MRI and we even took him to a neurologist to see anything can be done to relieve his pain and improve his life. But he’ll be incontinent for the rest of his life as his amputation was done badly. It’s obvious from the way it was done that someone sent him to the municipality shelter for surgery. So, there’s nothing we can do for him. But he can live a normal life as long as his bladder is emptied 3-4 times a day.

Right now he’s in a cattery with an expericed carer who expressess his bladder 4 times a day. He’s gained weight and he no longer has skin issues. All he needs now is an experienced home. He can travel to in 3.5 months🙏🏻

Another one crossed the rainbow bridge🌈💔

We first rescued this girl back in 2024 when she was battling pyometra and had already lost sight in one eye. She was spayed, treated, and had her eye removed — her recovery was long, but she made it through. Later, she also needed dental surgery to remove several rotten teeth.

At the time, she was completely feral. It took us months to trap her again for her dental treatment. But one day, something changed — she started letting us get close. She began to trust, to lean into our hands. We promised her that once some of our cats were rehomed, it would be her turn to find a family and finally know the warmth of a home.

But that day never came. We kept rescuing more and more cats, and she kept waiting. And today, we received the heartbreaking news that she was attacked by a stray dog and died a few days ago. They didn’t even give her a burial💔

Words can’t describe how devastated we feel. She wasn’t just another rescue — she was one of the cats we always thought we’d have more time for. We were going to name her Maeve. She finally had a name… but not the happy ending she deserved.

We can’t stop crying knowing she’s gone. Sometimes rescue feels like an endless uphill battle — too many in need, not enough homes. And we are certainly failing at getting our cats adopted. Every cat like Maeve reminds us why adoption matters, why fostering saves lives, and why we keep going even when our hearts are breaking.

Rest in peace, beautiful girl. You were loved. You mattered. And we will never forget you😢

✨Simba✨

We first rescued this little guy back in November 2024. He was a frail kitten, too weak to even meow. His eyes were so bloodshot we thought he was blind. The vet diagnosed him with toxoplasmosis and after 3 weeks of intensive treatment his eyes were back to normal. Once he was discharged, we brought him to our feeding area so that we could keep an eye on him but he kept getting sick. Life on the streets is so tough for frail kittens like him.

Just when we thought he survived the cold and snowy winter here he was diagnosed with FIP. And then one day he developed severe constipation leaving him unable to pass stool. X-rays revealed that he had megacolon which is a chronic condition where the colon becomes enlarged and can’t function properly.

But he’s all better now and he’s never going back to the street! He just needs to be on a special fibre rich diet for the rest of his life to manage his condition. Despite being through so much this past year, he never lost his sweet nature. Through every treatment, he purred and leaned in for cuddles.

He really is the sweetest cat we’ve ever had. He’s a true velcro cat. He will follow you everywhere and insist on being involved in everything you do. He can travel to the UK as of 4 November. Please consider opening your home to this gentle boy💜

✨Happy Adoptiversary Benjamin✨

Benji travelled to the UK one year ago today! Life on the streets was really tough for this partially blind boy. He was always sick with a respiratory infection and he would start suffering as soon as we discharged him from the vets.

But, those days are well behind him now that he’s living the life he deserves in London with his two Turkish brothers Robin and Wesley. What a lucky trio🥰🧿

✨Ben✨

We found this guy in a terrible state back in July and rushed him to the clinic. He was diagnosed with a lower respiratory infection, a gum infection, an abscess, rotten teeth, anaemia, jaundice and FIP.

Had we not taken him to the vets when we did, he would have died alone in a corner somewhere. We couldn’t just leave him there knowing we were his only lifeline💔

After 3 months of treatment and dental extraction we released him back last week. In an ideal world he shouldn’t have returned back to the streets as a FIP survivor. But this is the best we could do for him.

Please consider donating towards our rescue efforts so that we can help more cats like him🙏🏻
