We have decided to leave Turkey and relocate our sanctuary as soon as possible,
Our reasons are the absolutely unmanagable inflation costs focused on animals ( animal food and vet costs ) and the cruelty towards animals increasing here along with the fact that I am no longer able to help animals in pain on the streets needing help due to the costs !
I feel cornered.... 💔

Step 1
In order for our rescues to leave each needs a rabies titre test which is £200. Without it they are stuck here :'(
Please please please please please.... help us to take them away.

Huge thank you to EVERYONE who contributed to Kizim having her ear op ❤️❤️❤️ ( aural hematoma)
The wound is healing beautifully thanks to my vets amazing skills and kizim is improving each day.

We have to use a cream inside her ear called Oridermyl daily after cleaning inside her ear which kills EVERYTHING!
Ear mites bacteria and yeast infections, but at around £30 for a tiny tube it's not cheap ( if anyone has any at home I'd be grateful of it x)

We have to try to stop her shaking her head as that's what causes the fluid to build up inside and it's really difficult because until the infection is cleared she won't stop trying! and so I'm literally having to baby sit her telling her off every time she shakes her head !
The ear is bandaged up daily and under compression to allow drainage and stop swelling and i pray the antibiotics, creams , pain relief are doing their job x

Before the operation began I had a basic blood test done with is only £30
This test should ALWAYS be given to any dog before an op as if the test shows they are ill anaesthetic should NOT be given :( if it is given while a dog is sick then their kidneys and other organs will suffer terribly :( and some don't recover ....

Today is the beggining of very expensive treatment for Elby and Kali
They both begin their treatment for leishmania.
28 days of daily meds.
Both are strong enough now thanks to the alopurinol and both are ready 💪

When I look at them before 💔.... given up on, walked away from, but they were strong and wanted to live and it only took love and determination to bring them through.
Determination to fix the wrongs that had been done :(

This is my reason for carrying on

No matter what life throws at us, we have so much to be grateful for x

The treatment for both has cost around £500.00 and we have some very special ladies to thank for helping us raise funds/ source/ deliver.

Darcy and Jack to our vets today 🙏
I wanted Gizem to see jacks mouth lump as its growing and Darcy was a bit lethargic and didn't want his breakfast in his enclosure, I thought may as well get him checked and I'm glad i did, he has an infection from bad teeth :(
So we had them sorted after a snap test and bloods to check he was up to the anaesthetic x

He's home now and recovering in a cosy crate and will not want to go back to his enclosure once he's well,
This is the heartbreak I face, they all want to be close to us in the kitchen !🥲 Its really hard to deny them and put them in the enclosure when all they want is to be close to humans for love and comfort
I guilt trip myself regular but what can I do ?

They need loving forever homes🥰
They deserve loving homes 🥰

I didn't get the vet bill from today yet but I'll post once I do and please help just a lil bit if you can 🙏

Remember our lovely Sadie goffret?
She had the plasma cell gingivitis that keeps coming back :/
We have to keep paying for surgical removal under anaesthetic which of course is not good for her :(
Our vet here in Turkey has tried many treatments and it just keeps growing
I've spoken to a uk vet and they spoke to a specialist who recommended an op to cut deep into the bone and basically cut away the whole area :(
I'm not happy at the thought of this surgery and neither is my vet, we just so desperately want to fix Goff but soon after surgery the lumps start to grow back and nothing we try fixes them :(

I've been recommended this product by our uk vet and I'd like to try it
But it's not cheap.. :(

Can anyone help us help Sadie Goff
She is the sweetest little girl who would have a home in the uk if it wernt for the constant need for surgery :(

🙏Little Lady has a bill 🙏
Shes one of our oldest residents, needs prebiotics to keep her tummy happy, we've been using these tablets, 1 per day, and they have stopped her from having a poo with blood in it x
The blood when it happened seemed like something was bleeding in her colon perhaps or her re**um, but our vets can't find anything obvious and with these tablets, the bleeding stops :)
They are around 600 tl ( about £18.00)

Don't kill me... but 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

In season little girl running around being literally r***d by the boy dogs, chased into oncoming traffic, bitten fought over and absolutely petrified
And now she will be pregnant and her babies lives, if they live won't be worth living... 😭

I am begging... help me pay for her neuter and a vaccine to give her a chance on the street. .. 💔

It's 5000tl which is around £150.00 😭😭😭
She's not vaccinated and so if she goes to the shelter for a free neuter, she will get a free dose of Parvo and Distemper while she's there 💔
I can't let that happen :(

Up next and looking for someone to buy his dinner is our Handsom Hudson 🥰

He is a lab retriever cross and a beautiful gentle soul.
He was found as a dumped 4 to 6 week old pup :( and has lived with us here at the sanctuary in Turkey ever since.

He is around 3 years old now and needs a food sponsor and of course would love a home.
A good quality sack costs £20 and will feed him for a full month 😘

Jack our oldie and first Turkish rescue had a lump removed from his gum and his last 2 back teeth extracted.
He had always had reoccurring gum infections until we took his teeth out over a year ago and since has been perfect but 2 teeth that remained decided to cause problems and so they are gone now too :)
He has come back strong and happy :)

Kali update 🥰🥰🥰🥰

So miss Kaliboo has been with us a month I believe and :o its flown!

She was 11.5 when I collected her and had gained weight at the vet clinic but was still so tiny

From weighing 11.5 to a NOW 16.1!!!! 😆😆😆😆😆 ####################################

As you can see her ribs and hip bones are nearly fully covered and her skin is almost healed x
The hole in her hip that was down to the bone has healed beautifully and is now around the size of my pinkie finger nail :)
We are so pleased with her she is such a sweet loving girl and the pack make me so proud for accepting and encouraging her 🥰
With your help we can now begin her vaccines and not too long in the future we can have her neutered 🥰
