Someone dumped these puppies in Caroni. The person who found them is urgently looking for help, she picked them up out of the rain but can't keep them.

104 DOGS AND PUPS

So far for 2022 the project has rescued 104 dogs and pups and assisted many people with their own pets.

It's a strenuous task but the animals deserve the chance to be happy.

Sadly, the project's vet bills are over $60,000 and continues to go up as dogs remain in boarding, are returned to the project after adoption, urgent cases are taken in.
Fundraisers help make payments on the bills but it's a struggle.

Please consider making a donation this Christmas 🙏 it would help so much and enable the project to continue its work.

The cases I take on are often the ones that nobody else wants - I take the underdogs, the ones that need the most care 🐶 as I believe all dogs deserve a chance.

Sweet girl was rescued from a home where she was starved, she and the other dogs at the home were complete skeletons. Now she's doing so well and ready to be in a safe home.

She is doing much better now and needs a forever home, as persons from the campus are threatening to call the pound

Peanut has been waiting for someone to adopt her for months now 😢

Her sister got a great home and now it's just her. She had a hard start to life after being rescued from an aggressive vagrant in south. All she wants is someone to give her the love and understanding she deserves.

She's house trained, great with other dogs and loves playing fetch.

UPDATE

Old boy Edward is now in a loving foster home where he would be closely monitored for a few months.

This sweet boy was found in POS a week ago and since then we've found out he has an enlarged heart, swollen prostate and possible liver cancer. He was neutered to help with the prostate issue (reason for the cone) He's in bright spirits, no pain, eating well and will have check-ins with his vet 😊.

From the bottom of my heart thank you to Mikaela for volunteering to foster so at least he would get some love and TLC for whatever time he has left. You are awesome ❤

PLEASE HELP ME HELP THIS OLD MAN

Edward was found in Port of Spain last week 😞. Ultrasounds show that he has small masses on this liver which could be cancer but we don't know for sure yet. He's about 10 yrs old but very sweet.

I don't want to euthanize him as he's eating well and ok for now. Is anyone willing to give this old man a place to live for a while? I will provide food and cover all his vet check ups. Over the next few months is when we will know his prognosis.

The owner of these dogs died and they were left to fend for themselves on the streets. They show up at a workplace in San Fernando where one of the employees feed them but she was now told the compound is going to call the pound to come for them.

This pup was found in Fyzabad. She is unable to walk and is paralyzed from the waist down. X-rays showed no damage to her spine and after assessment she was given a 40% chance to walk again with the right therapy and medication.

It might work, it might not but we are going to at least try to see if she can be rehabilitated.

The estimated time she would need care is around 4 months or so. During this time we would need food, wee-wee pads, her medication and vet visits to check for progress. Someone very kind has already offered to foster her and do the therapy exercises which would require commitment.

I think her name should be Lenna - it means lion's strength and this pup is a fighter ❤

Hey guys,

Please Read❗️❗️

This male doggie is currently on open campus, he's been there a while now..
The story we heard was that his owner's died and he got dumped..
He's an older doggie and such a sweet boy but misunderstood by many around..

The pound was already called once for him and we assume as classes will resume soon that they may call the pound again for him because they will say he is bothering students when in reality he walks up to people in hopes of getting something to eat...

Many people pay attention to the female dog and her puppies who are also on the campus and feed them but we have yet to see more than 1 person who cares to feed this male doggie(we feed him every night)..

If anyone is willing to adopt/foster or can help in anyway, please let us know!
